Mind blowing song, these guys got fkd not having this song become huge, it truly is sad, same with the band Rose, 2 bands shouldve been huge out of Canada

Probably because during that time it was a rare song to begin with and there was no exposure a far as the internet. There were probably quite a few songs and artists from Canada that went under the radar during that time period. Even the one's that gained exposure during that time you didn't really hear too much from them since then.

@@Ezoangelofdeath I bet if a movie producer used this song in a movie now I'm sure everyone would be curious because it was many years ago and sorted faded into obscurity but I've noticed quite a few songs from back then in movies now and everyone is chomping at the bit sort of speak. A good example is Wonder Woman 1984.

@@timothyrenar5498 Just hard to believe a song this good was never even circulated by word of mouth, I mean it just bleeds radio hit, I was 4 in 1983, but have always tried to find the good songs, my stepdad who happens to be from BC had a bunch of tapes he had recorded off LP, this was in them, I lost my mind when I heard it, like, how has nobody heard this song? and your right, all it would take is to be put in a mainstream movie,or get some rotation on a rock show, a well known one, they still exist. it goes on all my playlists, I can get sick of it, how did you hear it bro?

@@Ezoangelofdeath Well I was young myself in the early 80's as I was born in 1977 and originally from Maryland but my dad before he passed away had a bunch of LP's as well like the 33's and the 45's and quite a few artists from around the late 70's and early 80's but this song I found by accident as I was looking up rare aor songs from around that time period because some of the best music and also underrated came from that time period. Also quite bit of good music from Canada especially your area came from that time period. Much of the music now is overrated and off course is getting more attention but that's slowly changing because people and producers are tapping in to something diifferent that people had never heard of or it's been so many years and it's like wow I forgot about that song. This is a little bit off track but I saw a guy who was really into horror movies but he got tired of the mainstream one's so he went back as he was from the 80's as well but the look of the girls in the 80's with the thick makeup and the strange look left much to be desired for him. So he went further back to the 70's and much to his surprise he saw these twin girls from the movie Twins Of Evil. No thick make-up or tattoos just 2 beautiful girls with a nice complexion and about as natural as they can be. Mary and Madeliene Collinson during that time were probably just about every teenage boy's fantasy but sort of dropped off the radar but again people were curious about what happened to them. I think this is sort of what happens with music as well as something that is from the past becomes the present because of fascination about it. Off course Twins Of Evil is another topic I can go on and on about but I'll save that for later I guess.

@@timothyrenar5498 Yeah but not everybody has the ability might be a good word, or motivation, or even knowledge to even begin to know where to start looking for shit like this, it's a very niche and specific sub section of music, even for me, as long as Ive been looking for off bands, and unknown bands, since I was basically a kid, I still stumble onto shit that I can't believe I never discovered before, sometimes nobody's discovered it, seems like the truly great songs I often fall upon by shear accident, when I get on the internet and search into the most obscure corners I often never find anything of interest, same with movies, speaking of which, the Collinson sisters were long before my time, but I do remember finding one of my dads Playboys which if I remember correctly featured them, that would be the only way I even knew of them. lol
