Somehow, there's so many shootings at gas stations in Memphis that someone made a whole YT channel about it and I landed here. The internet is a strange place.
I live in Memphis. Environmental awareness. What part of town and time of day. Too many cars. All of these are red flags. It's like parents don't exist. These young folks have no value for their own lives. Their life is worthless to them.

I graduated from U of M. Didn't grow up in the hood but I made music in N. Memphis for years. To say the least.. the place is like a warzone and a playground all at the same time. It's surreal when you're there.
I've been at that station before, usually very peaceful, a little hard dirty after a while of no cleaning up but not a bad place. The chicago heights gas stores are a bit tougher.
I was at a QT in Phoenix when a car started circling the pumps, with a dude yelling out the window at some dudes pumping gas. He's throwing up gang signs and all that. I was walking to my car and decided to use it to take cover behind, rather than get in and try and drive off. Good thing I did because the guy yelling steps out his car with a damn machine gun and starts shooting. Soon as the shots stopped and he drove off I got in my car and dipped off. I didn't even see anything on the news about it that night.

Somehow, there's so many shootings at gas stations in Memphis that someone made a whole YT channel about it and I landed here. The internet is a strange place.
I live in Memphis. Environmental awareness. What part of town and time of day. Too many cars. All of these are red flags. It's like parents don't exist. These young folks have no value for their own lives. Their life is worthless to them.
Parents, plural, do not exist. That is the problem. Gangsta rap and gang banging takes the place of the father. People say the democrats crating incentives to break up the black family is what started the problem, but it's the black families buying the lie that is the problem. Since then, too many have refused to take any personal responsibility and that isn't getting better so this will go on and on.
Goes to show crime can happen even in the nicest neighborhoods.

I graduated from U of M.
Didn't grow up in the hood but I made music in N. Memphis for years. To say the least.. the place is like a warzone and a playground all at the same time. It's surreal when you're there.
I've been at that station before, usually very peaceful, a little hard dirty after a while of no cleaning up but not a bad place. The chicago heights gas stores are a bit tougher.
I was at a QT in Phoenix when a car started circling the pumps, with a dude yelling out the window at some dudes pumping gas. He's throwing up gang signs and all that. I was walking to my car and decided to use it to take cover behind, rather than get in and try and drive off. Good thing I did because the guy yelling steps out his car with a damn machine gun and starts shooting. Soon as the shots stopped and he drove off I got in my car and dipped off. I didn't even see anything on the news about it that night.
