Frou Frou - Let Go

Remembering the beautiful and gifted Solveig Dommartin (1961 - 2007). Footage from the 1987 film "Wings of Desire (Der Himmel über Berlin; Les ailes du désir)" with brilliant photography by Henri Alekan, and direction by Wim Wenders. This was easily Solveig's best film. Music here is by Frou Frou.

Quel film extraordinaire !!!!!! Quand je l'ai vu au cinéma, moi qui allais 3 ou 4 soirs par semaine au ciné (facile à Paris), j'ai cessé complètement pendant 3 ou 4 mois tant ce film extraordinaire m'avais touché/ébloui au plus profond...
Ces anges désespérés car désormais incapables d'aider les êtres humains (on voit le cri de douleur dans la video de celui qui ne peut empêcher un suicide) du fait de la perte de communication dans ce monde de fou ( et qui s'est pas amélioré depuis !)... Celui qui par amour va, comme Peter Falk, renoncer à ces ailes d'ange pour decouvrir le monde reel et aimer....
J'en ai encore les frissons.... Les images de Berlin, du mur, les concerts hallucinés de Nick Cave & the bad seeds, les images de ce tout petit cirque en train de mourir,....
"Der Himmel Über Berlin" ( le ciel au dessus de Berlin) ou "Les Ailes du Désir " en français ( bof titre), merci Monsieur Wenders pour ce chef d'oeuvre intemporel....
PS : Les fantastiques images Noir et Blanc (pour une partie du film) sobt du au génial (et très vieux) chef opérateur français : Henri Alekan...
PS bis ; Et Claire Denis ! comme assistante de Wim Wenders, comme sur Paris Texas... Pfff quel film, que d'artistes réunis...

@funder1der Hey dude. I totally get that. I am a man too. I am a cattle farmer who deals with alot of violent animals, people, and I dont get much emotional release. For some reason artists like this Frou Frou, Radiohead, and others seem to do what nobody else can for me...... make me feel.
