I remember in the late 80's being one of the few year round beach residents that lived on Panama City Beach PCB there was nothing open in the winter. Then one spring we went to one of the two legal beaches to drive on Cape San Blas and Grayton Beach [that I knew of that was remote] We enjoyed Grayton because of the fresh water pond. Laying on a float going in circles around the pond because of the waves our little baja bug swam across the beach a couple of times when the water was high. It was common to see headlights pointing towards the sky where people got stuck kinda like batman's signal so everyone one would rope together and pull them across. The first time we saw the bicycle community we laughed and now 5 million plus 🤯 Our little house we bought for 30 thousand and sold it in 1995 for 75 thinking wow and moved to Colorado to escape the spring breakers. It has a tall rental condo built right against it and the last time it sold was for 190ish looks the same as when we sold it unbelievable
