Riza Atraje most of idle's songs follow a formula though. ive stanned them since pre-debut, and the second i played hann, and even senorita, it follows the soyeon start format (understandable since she made it) and while yes, these are only the title tracks it really shows how red velvet tries something new every time.
and if 2018 girl groups count as 3rd gen, i'd say loona is the most musically interesting, from their soft ballads to electronic music.

I love how often Red Velvet appears on this channel!
As umu always mentions, songs aren’t selected based off popularity, but on how musically interesting they are.
Literally almost every Red Velvet title track has made it to this channel, with the exception of Happiness, Be Natural, Red Flavour and Bad Boy (considering they’ve debuted for almost 5 years) and some b side tracks as well.
Sure, lots of their comeback and music have had lots of mixed opinions, which can make it hard to stan them but once you get into them, it’s basically impossible to get out. There will be comebacks every now and then that won’t suit your music tastes but with red velvet, they’re bound to have a comeback that you’ll like eventually. Zimzalabim doesn’t float your boat? Nobody’s going to force you to like it but at the very least, don’t hate on it and admire the uniqueness of the song.
To some, Red Velvet and their music may not be the brightest crayon in the box, but I LOVE that component about them… They’re just so unique and DIFFERENT.

Not being biased, but they're the best group right now, musically, they can do a lot. They can release a song without a rap and cutesy concept and still slay it. They produce quality songs, unlike others who only had their main title as the good one. I know groups who only rely on one concept only like rapping and being cute, but not Red Velvet. They're the epitome of Versatility.
I like red velvet but thats a stretch. Zimzalabim was not good, and RBB was definitely meh. Any time they rap is not great either. I will agree that all their songs, whether they are good or not, are very well produced and their voices blend very well
C A to each their own I guess, RBB and Zimzalabim are definite bops for me even on first listen. Such good quality and vocals. I think people were still trying to get over Bad boy. Imagine hearing RBB and Zimzalabim before bad boy? That’s what happened to my friend who prefers RBB than Bad boy. 👀👀👀

Agreed. Even when there's a song of theirs I don't like as much, that doesn't mean it's bad. It just means it's not for me (for instance, I'm not a huge fan of Sassy Me, but that doesn't mean it's a bad song by any stretch of the imagination. It just doesn't fit into my own particular tastes). But all of their work, wether title track or b-side, is fantastic and well-made across the board. They're the most consistently good group I know of who can pull off multiple styles, concepts, and production while still retaining their top-notch quality. Even after five years, when many other girl groups start to fizzle out and begin their downward decline, they still are able to remain relevant and fresh.
Bad Dracula and Happily Ever After should be inspiration for an entire album.

Reveluvs are very proud of Red velvet because they elevate industrial qualification by making these meaningful songs and just counting in their B sides. That's why we are not downed by the embarrassment of 'Zimzalabim'.
LgndRV Zimzalabim is not embarrassing, at least for a lot of people I see and myself either. It may sound jarring at first, but that’s what’s special about it. You may not like it, cool. I respect that. But saying the song which RV has been working hard to prepare is embarrassing, not cool.

I understand that it can get repetitive and turn people off seeing the same artists' music being reacted to/ analysed, but i genuinely believe that red velvet has quality music that is made for Channels like these. They focus on the actual music and talk beyond the limited knowledge the average person has. One of the reasons why people find it so difficult to resist their music is because they consistently deliver great music which is both interesting and enjoyable.
I was just bitching a couple days ago about how most of my favorite RV songs are b-side tracks and nobody gave them the love they deserve. Thank you for this reaction video !!

They might not be as popular as others, since they actually release music, not being cute or badass to attract fans. They have experimental music, which sometimes not work, but they keep switching genre. The name of the group itself explain it.

This is why I always tell my friend that Red Velvet is a fucking ride. Their Title tracks and their B-sides are one of the best out there. It's hard to find groups that have good title tracks and b-sides at the same time.

This is why I love listening to b-sides when I find a group I like. For most artists and groups, you just end up finding songs I like the same or better than the title tracks.
Edit: for another half-step away chorus, pretty sure Forever (SNSD) does the same thing. Always loved that transition; it was nice to hear someone with musical background give a name to it.
I wanna hit Like button twice, one for another RV video, one for Umu's call for streaming Zimzalabim, then I realized I would be nonsense, so I hit it one more time for high-quality editing

From all of the musical reaction video that I’ve watched i found that they really talk a lot about music when reacting to red velvet. No offense to other group but when it comes to them these guy reacting like other reactors. I also notice that although they are enjoying the song they still can notice what kind of chord and what is going on. In conclusion red velvet is best group alive.
