It's been way too long since I've watched this video. It never gets old.
There's tears in my eyes but I'm too mesmerized by him to cry.
I never get tired of this video.
It's so sexy when he isn't singing and he's looking down at his guitar.
This is one of my all time favorites from David! Beautiful song and a beautiful man. Actually this is the first video I noticed how gorgeous he looks :)

He IS a very special person, much beyond his looks and music. He appeals to so many, for different reasons and is a true gift from God. He is going to make a HUGE impact in this world in SO many ways! :)

Still one of my favorite videos ever... The Voice, purely acoustic, singing from Analog Heart. It doesn't get any better than this. Makes me wish I could travel back in time for just a song or two.
Glad to know there are other cookrazies out there. I get my fix in secret every day here on youtube. My daughter makes fun of me. I'm from Tulsa, and he sang at my work between Omaha and Hollywood. I was so stressed and he sang so quietly I hardly noticed him. I kick myself every day for that!!!!

There is a point where he sings the high note at the end that sound totally awesome and gives me goosebumps. It almost sounds not human. He really has an amazing voice.

I was in California for a week, and I had no computer access. I was DYING! I had my iPod, but I couldn't listen to it very often, 'cause I was at a Youth Conference. But I agree about your comment on his lyrics. Whenever I hear Still or Not Around, I feel like he's letting me have a glimpse into his world. I would love to ask him how he writes songs, and maybe write a song or two with him...

Ok.... I am ready to make a daring statement..... Of all the performances and videos I've seen of him (and there's a lot) I think he looks the most beautiful right here. Quietly singing his own song. He's so insanely gorgeous here.

I have been trying to tell everybody since the beginning of the season that this guy is just flat out brilliant. This is an acoustic version of the song The Truth which is on Analog Heart, and is an AMAZING song that he wrote of course. Golden arrows called notes just fly out of that pretty mouth and pierce your heart and soul... Wow.
And could he be more GORGEOUS in this vid???????

Lol, of course I've heard those! I have them all on my iPod. I pretty much have all his music: Matter of Time, Blindsided, The Story Thus Far, Analog Heart. I even have Not Around and Red Hot from a demo of theirs.

I think the pre idol songs that he did are good. For me they are more relax and meaningful... I believe that it was written from his experience and most of all from the heart.... Peace!!!
Gorgeous song, gorgeous performance!! Just wish he'd stayed a bit closer to the mic so his voice wouldn't keep wavering in and out. Or maybe that adds to the ethereal quality. :)
You have no idea. I cannot go one day without listening to David; otherwise I go into Cookie withdrawal. My family pretty much hates him now because of me. But I could care less, cause it's more for me. When his album comes out in November, they will see his brilliance and apologize for hating him...at least I hope so...

I think he looks insanely sexy here - way before Idol. He was already a smoking HAWT LAVA BOMB!!!! And the song is pure beauty. The way he goes up to high notes with such ease...they are so huge and resonant!!!! like at 3:06

Sound man needs more training LOL sounds like the mic wasn't running into the sound board. I really wanted to hear the words, I could hear them when he punched it, but I am selfish and a bit spoiled when it comes to sound.The picking is clear as a bell though.
