Hi Andy, another great little video. I can also join the club of folks who've visited the summit of Knotts, although I had no idea that AW had included it in his original list. I just love exploring out of the way place and was curious. Well worth a visit as you say. Thanks as usual for the subtitles :-)
Thank you Maggie. I had guessed that you had ventured over that way on yor walks. Certainly a top to be on your own for a while . Thnaks for commenting.
‘I’m off to the pub’ - And well deserved Andy, enjoyable walk & one for the future, lots of interesting info that I was unaware of, thanks for sharing...keep em coming!
Andy, been a subscriber for a bit now, but just wanted to say how much I have been enjoying your videos. Probably will never get the chance to visit these beautiful places in person, so I appreciate your sharing them with us online. I hope to one day get out to do some plein air drawing / painting - I've got my kit all ready; just need the courage to get out there! Oh and love your editing and sweet pup as well. Thanks so much.
Another really interesting video Andy. We never visited the summit of Knotts when we were at Great Crag, an excuse to go back again! Picking up some great info from your videos, keep them coming. Cheers. Eddie.
Hi Eddie, thanks for the comment. Knotts is one of those tops often bypasssed by walkers but as you will have seen from the video it is well worth a detour.
Yet another fantastic video Andy. Really enjoying this newish series. Spookily I visited Knotts last summer, I took a very different route from yours, made it really hard for myself, but agree that it's a cracking little top with wonderful views :-)
Thanks for the comment Don. So pleased that you are enjoying them, I love making them. This one was filmed a while ago and I had issues with the sound so hopefully I have rectified that now for my forthcoming films. No doubt your route to Knotts was more direct?
Another gem Andy, hope that Lesley doesn’t know about that other lovely little tarn on the Knotts 😉 I’d be interested to know the weight of all the gear you carry, along with the Wainwright pack, camera gear, tripod etc.
Thanks for the comment Adrian, glad that you enjoyed it. Lesley won't find that tarn, she doesn't watch this stuff :) :). I am not sure about the weight of the kit but actually I was thinking ofmaking a little film of what I take with me on my travels so I will do that and weigh the kit.
Andy Beck I love seeing the gear different walkers carry, so looking forward to that. Yesterday on my walk and previous walks I keep thinking to add binoculars as that would enhance the pleasure seeing wildlife, I was escorted from point to point yesterday by male Wheatears, I was encroaching on their patch after all 😊

Thank you John. Yes, still plenty to discover out there on the fells. More to follow :)

Thank you for the kind comment. Apologies for the delay in responding. Get out there and do it, no one is watching....have fun :)

Andy, I turned off leftish at the hut and made my way around the side and heather-bashed my way! :-) Then a beeline to Grear Crag :-)

@@adrianstrand6071 yes, a small set of compact binos that you can have in a pocket or pouch are a real handy addition for all walks.
@@adrianstrand6071 I do actually watch Mr Becks videos, just not straight away! ;)
