she's a purdy knife, yet still quite capable at handling any bushcraft tasks that a smaller blade can do.

The handles are ivory micarta with carbon fiber bolsters.
Their warranty service is good. If you see your grind is off a bit, or whatever else may happen, they will fix it no questions asked. They also offer a spa service, where they will sharpen your knife, and buff it up to clean up any minor scratches that can be buffed out without removing massive amounts of steel. You just have to pay for shipping, but otherwise free.Timbo tends to send knives that aren't super common when he helps out. They may not be rare gems, but there usually aren't a thousand other videos on them.

Dude you got that right! Very unique and rare knives. Timbo is an awesome guy. I’ve never seen a carbon fiber bolster before. Very cool stuff. I’ll keep that in mind for some of my future designs. Thanks bud! I appreciate it.👊👌

Whenever Timbo sends a knife, it always performs. Is he sharpening them before he sends them because it seems like they are all capable of cutting the d*** off a flea. I thought the same exact thing when I saw that it was 3v. What a cool little knife

I saw a comment from him somewhere that he says he gives much of the credit for his sharpening abilities from watching Neeves Knives videos on the subject. I think it's cool that he gives credit where it's due like that.

@@mattgoyette4965 more often than not, the answer to your question is yes, I put a fresh edge on them before sending them out. Occasionally however, a factory edge is good enough that I don't feel it's nessesary. This knife is kind of sort of one of those examples. It's still rocking the factory edge, however I did strop it up with 9 micron Gunny Juice on the smooth side of a leather strop.

I like Bark River they make a really good handle thats always comfortable. I have about 30 or so of their knives and a couple years ago I got a couple knives that just weren't up to the quality they should have been but that being said they have tightened up their QC and the quality is back to what it should be. Great Vid Frank. By the way, I did grab another Survive even though I have one pre-ordered the Standard 4.5 in K890 from Edgeworks Thanks for the Heads Up

Glad you got yourself another Survive! Good stuff. You can never have too many. Haha. Take it easy brother!👊🤣🤘

I just got the GSO 4.7 in 3V out of the mailbox and love it Monday the GSO 4.5 in K890 is scheduled for delivery. The 4.5 I pre-ordered is also in K890 but I did opt for the SS bow drill insert so it will be a little different. @@WhatsthePOINT_EDC
