sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a tool to get back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid forgot my login password. I would love any help you can offer me!
@Kyrie Castiel I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and Im in the hacking process now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Wow...they are truly making some incredible amps now. It's becoming harder and harder to be a tube amp snob, especially when gigging. Home studio? No problem, but simple all in one... This looks nice. I bought a JC22 yesterday it's incredible and I'll have it forever, love Roland's products!
When I get my channel up, I plan to do a lot of demo of my JC200 unicorn head with my Rhodes lol it's great stuff. Boss is making a good run at dominating the small combo market even against companies like Blackstar...
I agree. Plus they used white and black contrasting labels and buttons to make everything easier to see in the darker rooms. I set my amps on a stand that leans back. This makes it impossible to see top mounted controls.
Loving the Nextone. It takes pedals exceptionally well too.. After 10 years of using Fractal Axe FX, I just my Fractal Audio FM3 up for sale. This sounds analog.
And where do you stand with this amp now. I sold my Quad cortex a month after owning it… i just couldn’t shake off playing that mic’d amp sound, i felt i need to feel the amp under my fingers. I brought the studio 20w marshall silver jubilee , best thing i did really , however i need a 2nd amp for my wet dry stereo preference and i know the katana artist well, but i keep looking at this nextone special and think it might be another idea i would like to try out.
@@attillal4821 - Still loving it. When I listen to the mic’ed playback from rehearsals I really like the clean / crunch tones I get and I notice I play more inspired. If I could crank a Silver Jubilee at 10 all the time, I’d do that but we have to control the volume. (I have the 20 watt studio versions too) Controlled volume is where the Nextone really shines. I only wish that it had a more in depth pedal available. The GAFC reaches its limit quickly. I have other midi pedals. I just lack the knowledge to program them with the Boss interface! 😃
Ordered today based on what I heard in this video. If the lord is willing, I plan to gig it this weekend, and ill post some video of it in a live situation with a band.
I just bought one of these after listening to countless RUclips demo clips. Be aware the one you get will not sound anything like the vid clips, well at least mine didn't. After spending 4 hours fiddling with every combination I have given up and my ears are hurting, its going straight back to Andertons. Now I know many will not agree with me, but if you are expecting the smooth harmonically rich touch sensitive responses of a valve amp then forget it, despite the sale bull that it does. Now it is possible that I got a duffer, and certainly it does sound like the fancy speaker is busted, but I think it unlikely. I even listened to the video on the Boss website, but I gotta tell you that is not the same amp that I just got delivered today. My first and last venture into the digital amp world, back to tubes for me. Beware, make sure you can send it back before you commit to buying.
The clean sounds are great. But when it comes to crunch and overdrive sounds, the sound becomes sterile and transistor-like. I'm not a fan of the distortion sounds.
I don’t know. I can get this real close to my EL 84 AC30 and my EL34 JTM as far as overdrive - but at a much more manageable volume. It crunches pretty good. Sits in the mix real nice. As for the cleans, I’ve gigged pedal steel with it.
@@andyorr1304 At 4:05, it sounds "OK" but not very "tubey". The treble tones are harsh with an immediate attack, like a slap in your face. A tube amp, unless they're running on EL84s, would not be so harsh or fade out that quickly. Yes, I know, I'm nit-picking. I sold my Katana and Boss GT-1000 and got myself a Hotone Ampero which runs into a power amp and then into into my 70's Greenbacks (in stereo). Now that's a sound. Of course, the Boss Nextone is a great amp. It depends on what you're after.
Not so impressed with its driven sounds. But then it might be a microphone placement. But the clean tone was just atta this world. A great pedal platform.
No interruptions by some adolescent nitwit, describing the amp as "AWESOME!" (wish that word was removed from our vocabulary.) And... "It's all good." ... And "bro."

@Kyrie Castiel It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. I'm so happy!
Thanks so much you saved my account!
@Arian Ares Glad I could help xD
Forget the amp. How cool is it to hear a demo without an amateur comedian or hearing non stop gab? Well done!!
Are you listening Anderson's?
@@imandan1966 😂
I love your episodes, the sound was selected phenomenally and these great shots of the equipment, you can focus 100% on listening, best regards
First demo I've seen and it sounds great! Thanks! 🎸

This amp is really awesome! Especially the clean tone, it's really WOW!
Thank you for the great review. I really understood the potential sound quality.
I LOVE front facing knobs, so useful for quick changes. Also the the recessed panel means the knobs have more protection when traveling ;-)

@@andyorr1597 nice and good to hear … im still in the market for this next amp , i must go test one .
One of the best AMp demos I've seen. And I am seriously considering getting this amp.
Thanks was waiting for someone to do a demo! Can you please do another vid with this amp taking the most popular pedals?

What a beautiful sound, and it's all analog, not analog modelling.
Very professional demo. Makes all other non stop talking demoer looks as bad as they probably are.
The Power Amp Select really is the Emperor's new cloths. Apart from that... Nice amp.

If it sounds in reality that good like here on YT....so: halleluja rock'n roll!!
well done boss gj
Nice demo, you would think they could get the BOSS badge and grill cloth on straight for the price of the amp.

What is your opinion about the amp now, with more time to taste it? Thanks.
Does it worth?
I'm surprised how well it sounds....
why surprised ? Katana amps sound great, this is next level
The cleans sound really nice. Gain sounds kind of harsh to me. I bought a EVH lbx. You can’t beat tubes for higher gain.
Is it good for chugging, should I say for metal?
Ok, but it costs like a Fender or Marshall valve amp...
But they’re not as versatile and with the build in effects and attenuator 🤷🏻♂️ this is good value
@@martijn260571 Sure, every amp has pro and cons..
Tube amp way to go
Is it a sst or a modeller?
Seems like digital front end and effects, coupled with an analog power amp emulator.
@@GCKelloch ah ok, that’s cool
@Evan Hodge why?

Ah yes, the boss amp conspiracy.
@@valebliz no conspiracy, it’s just shit!
You’ve got to learn how to use the amp, the difference between a preamp and a power amp, and how to balance the two. This is not a plug and play amp.
How long does it take to boot?
I wish my katana had these cleans it would be almost perfect

I got mg300 n its really really bang for the buck

Just the same as Blackstar TVP series, but three times more expensive and without smooth "Brit/USA" blending!

Not digging these sounds especially at this price better off with a real tube amp.
Tube amp way to go
Thanks - sounds useful but not really outstanding.
@Evan Hodge 💩
Great demo but the amp itself sounds sterile, especially the dirt. Nice feature set.
Boss's sound quality has really gone way down in recent years.
Sounds tinny to me and nowhere near as versatile as my Katana 100.
