I was watching and doing everyday your tutorials for last 2 weeks and its crazy how better my sound gets. Mixing & Composing on next level for me. Thank You Mr. Jovani!
I really like the editing in your speaking. You get to the point without excess talking which loses the point. Just like composing music, the listener needs the point up front. It's clear and articulate what you've said here. Thank you.
I watch your videos and just enjoy it.It's a pity that I don't know English very well, so I don't think I should enroll in the course, unfortunately...well done you know your job and I respect you !!!
I've just started making tutorial videos & I'm not very good yet. I wish I had your skill on the piano and talent for educating. You have the energy! Thanks for the inspiration
Thanks! But you should see HOW MUCH I mess up! I should include the bloopers at the end of the vid 🤣 I usually record about 40 minutes for a 15-20 minutes video to give you an idea :) Keep at it! 💪
@@CinematicComposing .but we still appreciate you sharing Marc. If I can just let the BCF 2000 work the way you do it. I bought one a few months ago just because I saw you have one and now I can get it to work with my spitfire libraries. Do you have a video on how to assign your BCF 2000?
Its amazing to see how speedy your workflow is... & of course your talent in cascading everything perfectly... Nice showcasing of the use of the BCF 2000 midi controller too... This exhibits how important the automation is.... If possible pls do a video on how you manage to set up all those libraries - I presume through via VSL Ensemble Pro.... Many thanks - Highly Inspired ! Cheers ! :)
Great job! You got a lot done on so many different levels in this relatively short video. Very inspiring to look over the shoulder and watch such a talented composer/orchestrator create such amazing music.
sorry to be off topic but does someone know of a way to get back into an Instagram account? I somehow lost the login password. I would appreciate any help you can give me.
@Allan Zayden I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site through google and im waiting for the hacking stuff atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Which program are you using for composing?? I use cubase for recording my songs, but I don't know if it would be suitable for composing. You are doing great job :)))
Marc, as always, a huge thank you for these beautiful contents. A question? What's the name of the controller you use to regulate expressiveness, volumes, etc.?
The one you see in this vid is discontinued... it's the evolution uc33e... you still can find it on eBay for under $100... I now use the Midimaker Sparrow 5x100
Hi Marc, I got the BCF 2000, and see you have it as well but I can't get it to work with my spitfire libraries. In a Student of CC. Can you assist, please? Or do you have a video of how you assign it
Hello, I am a composer of melodys and origianal songs. I play classic guitar, electric guitar and harmonica. Thank you very much for your videos, I am discovering Cubase. I would like to orchestrate some of my creations. I would like to know : how can I replace the sound of an instrument by an other one, keeping in the same time the sound effect ('allegro', 'stacato', ...) ?
@08:48 HOW are we supposed to set up the Behringer BCF2000 Controller to do expressions in cubase? No one ever gives me an answer. I'm new to all of this. PLEASE help. I want to take your course, but only after I have my equipment and software setup so that i'm not distracted by my bad setup.
Now this is content! Goddamn! We need more of these. Could maybe have a little more explanation of some fundamentals and mechanics e.g. the counter melody. Probably pretty basic things for some but still.. Thanks, mate!
This is great for music producers, but doesn’t help us actually compose parts that can be played by musicians. How about a video using a notation program like Finale?
Thank you for posting this short preview of what you teach online and in the classroom. I grew up playing classical piano and started writing music in middle school, but I’ve never been comfortable writing melody first. When musical ideas come to me, they’re chord progressions, textures, rhythms and arrangements. Melodies rarely come to me, compared to all else. Is this a detriment I should strive to overcome? I don’t consider myself a very good melody writer, but maybe it’s because I’ve never really worked hard at it. I would love to know your opinion. Thank you in advance!
The way you compose music... the small little things that make you different from every other composer, your "detriments" (as you put it)... keep them! Don't fight them. That's what makes you unique! :) Just keep composing, practice, write music worth sharing! 💪
You are destroying yourselves as "composers" using DAWs and sample libraries. What you will subconsciously end up doing over time is write only for the samples that sound good, tempos that are easy to play/imagine, etc. Technology is designed for progress but in the music world it actually sets us back. Sad but true.

My favorite Teacher. watching your youtbe videos always make me love composing for films
That tremolo trick for strings!!! Thank you!!!
The amount of useful information that I've got in less than 20 minutes is actually insane! Time to binge the whole channel, I guess.
This teacher is the best and very very knowledgeable
He has the best hand gestures then anyone I know. Great video very informative.
Yeah...Those hand gestures are really important. :)
Excellent video! Thank you very much for sharing your knowledge!
Really valuable content. You are doing a great service for your fellow musicians!

Gracias, Marc, eres un fenómeno. Este vídeo me ha resultado muy útil.
when it comes to midi orchstration this one has the best tips allover the net.
me quito el sombrero! 🎩👌 gracias!!!!
I really don't know why you're offering these precious lessons for free. Moreover, the video editing is also incredible.
I don't see why there's a need to keep any secret :)
The information is out there anyway if you want to find it 🙏
@@CinematicComposing Thanks Marc ❤

thanks bro for teaching these many things for free !!
This is easier then I thought....thanks!
Great job! You got a lot done on so many different levels in this relatively short video. Very inspiring to look over the shoulder and watch such a talented composer/orchestrator create such amazing music.
You channel is awesome Marc, but the orchestration is unnecessarily for such a beautiful melodic line that stands on its own as a solo piano piece.
Wow! One of the best cinematic tutorials I've ever.. Respect! And please more ))

@Kamari Leonel No problem =)
You're so fluid in your workflow. Great video!!! I cannot thank you enough for these tips. 🙏🏾🌞
Thank you sir.❤️
I also love producing orchestral music as it is one of the most energetic 🔥
you actually understand the problems people have and you get straight to the point with it
How do you come up with such a beautiful melody

Which program are you using for composing?? I use cubase for recording my songs, but I don't know if it would be suitable for composing. You are doing great job :)))
cubase
Why do I have the feeling that the video is playing at 1.25 speed ? ;-)
LOL! Editor's fault! And maybe I speak a bit too fast some times... !? LOL
Awesome!
Thanks for the professional inputs.

Que usas para las dinámicas. Volume, vel, Etc.?
Those ensemble patches: do they score out the entire ensemble patches?
All the individual instruments?

I wonder how much that equipment costs to sound that good.
Very, very helpful!
One of the best orchestral programming videos which I've ever seen 🔥
Great Job 👏

What sample libraries are you using for this session?
Great vid , is this content from one of your courses ?
Genial.wao......muchas felicidades..........muy bien.....

Can I ask what DAW do you use for composing?
He is using Cubase :)

This was composed (and played) in Dorico: ruclips.net/video/urRjSU7hwJQ/видео.html
Very good, thank you, You are a very good teacher ! But why are the subtitles deactivated? I'm french and it would have been easier for me ;-)
Now it works ! Thank you
What about the role of the brass section to be applied in this sample?
If only FL Studio had custom key note names like in his DAW.
