He's never there, I don't care I can't tell you what and where
I love how the music coordinates perfectly with the shots in the movie; the montage feels natural and I almost forgot it's The Strokes. Just by looking at these images I can see that this is a great movie. Congratulations, this video clip drowned me in feelings that I can't explain.
It's criminal that this doesn't have more views because it's perfect. It took me a minute to realize that this isn't an official MV, lol. It's that fitting and well done.
I felt bad for The strokes for not getting enough attention and make enough money for how good they are. But at the same time I am also glad they are not as famous so when I met a person that listens to them I know they are worth befriending.

@@troytombstone2664 sure. the song is one of my favourites off of the new abnormal, i love the guitar arpeggios and julian’s soaring vocals - it almost reminds me a bit of beach house, which is one of my favourite bands. the song means a lot to me. nobody knows is a hard film to talk about - i guess i can say it affected me in a way few films have and left me feeling rather empty after i’d seen it. but i think that’s the sign of a great piece of art. it’s undeniably effective and powerful filmmaking - and the fact that it’s based on a real situation is all the more heartbreaking.
@@MB-wk4sb the tiktok community has a reputation of mainstreaming music that results in the said music being used in every single ad, every other movie, played on most FM radio stations and played at every single store (Forever 21, H&M etc). I’m simply acknowledging that I have respected and listened to the Strokes since before every middle schooler / high schooler nowadays who are exposed to this music on social media sights.
