  • This lesson aims to give a deep understanding of the important principle of inflections and conjugations which are vital to making progress in learning Hebrew. Suffixes are just a part of verb conjugations to know how to express oneself in the present, past and future tenses, as well as in the imperative mood. In order to train the ear in recognizing patterns in verb conjugations, here are some links to Hebrew songs with English subtitles:

This lesson, the first of yours that I have watched, is a gift from the cosmos. I've been searching for real learning of this language not The Superficial variety that's all over the place and you are doing it. I love the technical, linguistic approach that you use with clarity, specificity and deep understanding. Thank you thank you thank youתודה רבה.

Before I even watch I want to thank you so much for your time and work for this video lesson. All of your longer ones. I don't have much spare money for those expensive lessons that are offered out there. And I would love to though. Your lessons definitely get someone pretty much everything for learning Evret. It's up to us subribbers to take it the rest of the way by just by studying your lessons. I'm not too far from being able to say all this in Hebrew. Thank you!!

Thank you so much! That is a lot to learn! I also speak Spanish, and we have verbs that change in a similar fashion, and learning them is easiest by learing in context. For example, through songs and normal conversation. But it is good to understand how they change etc, first. I find it easier to listen a lot and then little by little catch the grammer, then study it. But this is very helpful and eeasy to understand. Thank you once again. Looking forward to the next video! תודה רבה. להתראות.

You're welcome! You are right. Spanish also has a lot of inflections. Did you know that Spanish has been influenced by Hebrew? For example, derecho is from the Hebrew derech which means way or path. When the Israelites were deported from Israel, they migrated to North Africa and came to Spain. In fact the peninsula of Spain and Portugal were named after the Hebrews. It is called the Iberian peninsula (ivrit is Hebrew). Iberico or iverico is after ivrit or the Hebrew people who passed there.
Learning the basics is important. After that, you can listen to songs or videos of Hebrew channels. That is the best way to learn.
I wish you much success in your learning of Hebrew. 👍🙂🙏

Thank you for this amazing video!!! It helped me understand a bit more about binyanim and their respective conjunctions. However, I just want to point out a mistake at 35:22, I think it's supposed to be 'tikatvi' instead of 'tikavti' Still, thank you so much !!!!!!
