I haven't read any of the books yet, but now I might have to. My first experience with Drizzt was in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, cutting down hordes with Icingdeath and Twinkle and listening to him drop sassy one liners every time I landed a critical hit. I landed a LOT of critical hits.
This has always been my favorite of Drizzt's journal entries. Did it for a monologue for a theatre class over a decade ago. Now, I have the privilege of hearing a true master of the craft perform it. Bravo 👏 👏 👏
Honestly, Drizzt's little journal entries are by far the best parts of the series for me. I remember them getting me to really think in a way that school wasn't quite able to do .
Just started reading that series, and Drizzt's remarks every chapter are amazing. Your voice really helps convey the philosophical tone his musings have.
I have always thought his voice to sound just like that Imma need you to open "Homeland" and go ahead and start there, then proceed to read the rest of the series to us
Holy moly, definetly wasn't expecting R.A. series to pop up here. 'The Legends of Drizzt' saga is what got me so enthralled with the fantasy genre in the first place, and later sci-fi, and eventually a love for reading in general. There's so much genuinely interesting philosophy in the stories, and every single one of the books that I can remember had entire short-chapters of Drizzt's monologues and musings that were as dramatic and impressive as they were insightful and genuinely thought-provoking. If it helps, and if my memory serves, 'the thousand orcs' in particular has a number of these focused on the nature of war that might pique your interest. In any case, well done, as always! Thanks for the content (and the nostalgia!)
I love RA Salvatore. The Demon wars Saga was awesome, especially the radio show version of it. I’m not talking just about the audio book, but the one where it sounds like those old radio shows. (Edit.) it’s the Dramatized edition.
There's entire short-chapters within the books that are just Drizzt musing to himself during his meditations, this is from one of those, if memory serves. The video has the book title, and if you flip through the book you should be able to pick out those chapters rather easily because of their length. I read a paperback, and the entire chapters were in italic so they were easy to distinguish, but I have no idea if they kept the same script for those chapters between different issues. Either way, hope this helps!
Listen we talking about legendary mythological icons, not some Overpower kaiju monster. Yeah Tarrasque is probably the strongest, but that thing is borderline unkillable. It's not like a dragon with its intelligence and own willpower. Killing a dragon is like the death of an ancient thing with intelligence, wealth, power, and influence. People have seen dragons. People have fought them. The tarrasque is very few and rarely ever seen. It is like a natural disaster most than what you'd think of as "most powerful kings of beastkind" Tarrasque are also kinda a bs creature just made up with the intention of having the hardest thing to have a party try to take down. It was never created as something to be a part of the world and its history. The Tarrasque is made for the Table-top, Dragons are made for the setting itself. They are apart of the world and it's mythology. Tarrasque was just a strong monster for the players to fight. But it wasn't incorporated as a part of the world. It's supposed to be like a 1 of that basically is not from that realm. It's like a dinosaur from a different planet/plane
That is a great voice for Drizz't!!!!!
God... I read those books when I was a kid. Over the years I forgot about Drizzt. This is such a wonderful reminder.

Every D&D party has the guy who RPs like this and also Bob McFlugg the Were-Gnome Wizard/Barbarian multiclass
I love the Legend of Drizzt books

You managed to make Drizzt's naval-gazing into something amazing. That's incredible.
Hearing my most favourite character, hero, adventurer, wanderer, is great. Thank you for this experience

Full VIDOES on my other socials. I do compilation videos every month on here with whole speeches too
Have you done any of Odin or heimdall from god of war ragnarok? Would love to see/hear it
If YOU specifically aren't chosen to voice the great drizzt, the only possible candidate would have to be drizzt himself.
I hope one day we get more stories with dragons helping the heroes. When will we get more stories of the dragon being the one to save the realms?
Please tell me you're doing all of the Dark elf books I'll buy that shit right now lol
Darn I was actually part hoping I was right and he was gonna do Dr. Seuss
READ THE GOD DAMM BOCK FOR US!!!
Tarrasque: Am I a joke to you?

That's not an Australian accent.
