      +YourPalsChrisAndAl thanks guys (i assume there are two of you). i'm glad they seem to do the job, as i slap them together pretty quickly and always watch it thinking is that worth posting or not? lol easy to see all the little mistakes and shortcuts when you've filmed and edited the vid. :)

      +dillon reynolds onya dillon, even if you mostly plan to ride fast this slow stuff is a great foundation.... i figure if it worked for jarvis, walker and all those guys it can't be a bad idea. :)

      its not a bad at all, i recently got real big into riding and plan on doing for my kids as well, and jarvis, walker, and the other guys made it to where they are today by training, its like my buddys dad has always said, " sometimes to be the fastest you have to go slow and take your time and think, thats how you can comeout on top of everyone, keep up the videos and im going to keep training and following what you guys are trying to pass on, much appreciation when it comes to your videos "BIG THUMBS UP" and thanks for the response to fast

    This past weekend I tried to do my first ever pivot turn and I was supposed because I never dropped the bike or cracked the rear fender and by the fifth try I had perfected it

      +Christian 777 sweet, took all of us waaaaay longer than that.

      +CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES I think it was because when I am practicing wheelies I know how much gas And clutch to give it so I knew how to do it already from ur vid I only had to try

  • @CaliforniaDualSportRiders
    @CaliforniaDualSportRiders 9 лет назад +1

    Definitely thought the "slapper" would be referring to the rear fender occasionally slapping the rider in the nuts when going over logs with your body position way back... haha!

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  9 лет назад +2

      +California Dual Sport Riders ah the italian princess isn't like that, the rear fender has a delicate caress which i probably won't go into too much detail here on a public forum.

    'Unauthorized use' is listed twice. This effectively negates the disclaimer, making 'unauthorized use' legal and the video producer, therefor, liable for any use.
    So, Mr. Morris, what is to be considered as 'authorized use'?

      @crosstrainingenduro  9 лет назад +1

      +idriwzrd i've repeated myself with a double up on a repetitive tautology, the penalty must be severe!

    how do i do this with a 2 stroke such as a kx125 its too hard to dump the clutch and do a wheelie

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  9 лет назад +1

      +twistedfails0142 almost any bike can be wheelied, it's more about technique than power or dropping the clutch. we've done two wheelies vids already.

    • @twistedfails0142
      @twistedfails0142 9 лет назад +1

      +CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES well i tried to wheelie yesterdayand my clutch wore out, now i cant ride lol

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  9 лет назад +2

      +twistedfails0142 bugger. you shouldn't need to use the clutch if you can compress the front forks correctly...

  • @stobbyenduromx9692
    @stobbyenduromx9692 8 лет назад +1

    I think the saddest part of this video is the fact that you counted all 493 of those logs

    • @crosstrainingenduro
      @crosstrainingenduro  8 лет назад +1

      +StobbyEnduroMX i know... that took two hours and all the other guys refused to help and just enjoyed themselves riding around :(

      CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES on a serious note though; i thank you for all your videos sir. i use the tips and work on the techniques in your videos every time i ride, and i ride allot (3-4 times a week if i can), so these videos have drastically improved my abilities to get through such rough terrain that i NEVER thought i'd ever even attempt, let alone now look forward to go finding the same difficult spots because they are now FUN to me!!! genuine thanks Barry.

      +CROSS TRAINING, ENDUROCROSS & ENDURO TECHNIQUES Years? Naw, i'm talking weeks. I've only had the D606's mounted on my DR650 for a few months now, and that is about the extent of my dirt experience, except for having a beat up '80-something DR400 that i learned to ride on as a teen out in the orchards....not much to train on there, and i've only had my DR650 for just under a year at this point, most of that year set up for street supermoto with the warp9 17" street wheels/tires. Currently, I do ride dirt allot more than the typical person, so i guess it would pencil out to "years", since i'm riding probably 4 or 5 times as much as most people. I am EXTREMELY lucky to have Carnegie SVRA 15 minutes from my house, and i have the yearly pass that's good for all California SVRA's, so i ride typically after work for a couple hours on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and then for a good 4 or 5 hours on Saturday or Sunday mornings. You would love this place Barry, i'm positive. It is my Mecca. From high speed Baja style fire roads to the gnarliest of damn near vertical hill climbs you (and i know YOU could) could imagine, and everything in between. Must be thousands of trails there, spiderwebbing all over the park, and i mean to learn them all some day. Anyway, now i'm blabbering. But yeah. Thanks for the free riding advice. "It made me the man i am today" (insert The Rock pic here instead of that scrawny KTM fucker)
      Cheers!
      Jeff
