- I should’ve known better, but the $160,000 prize had me anxious. In this episode we meet up with Cleetus McFarland and all the boys to race the Freedom 500. We had the car to win, I was prepared, but let this mistake get the best of me. Huge shout out to Garrett for putting this amazing event on as well as letting me be apart of something so awesome! This prize for me was a life changing prize and I wanted it badly. I am SOOOO EXCITED for JH Diesel that dude is an incredible driver and raced an unbelievable race!

Wait, Matt was 8th qualifying? I expected the Grind Hard guys to be fast, but Matt? The guy knows corvairs, demolition derby, and off road recovery... none of those are especially fast.
Most of the experienced guys don't go all out during qualifying because they usually invert the field, they aim to be middle of the pack so they are guaranteed not to get stuck all the way in the back.
This racing is very hard because you never know what kinda car you will get and you never know if it will even work right!

sorry dude but no one was getting past JH in that race, even without the crash I highly doubt you would of worked your way to the front and then past him, his car was running good and he still had reasonable tyres with the grip he had.
