I have been looking for a review on this! It’s such a great added feature but I have to decide if it’s worth the extra cost for me. And very helpful to know how much it will bulge. It’s stunning! Congrats! 🥳🥳🥳
Yeah it's a bit bulgy - however if you don't overstuff it it's still a pretty compact size for a small purse.

Thanks Amy, it’s actually a good thing you are not into SLG as it’s definitely a lot of savings. The H colours are just mesmerising and although I don’t need so many SLGs (LOL need to declutter), the pink stuff is just a magnet for me! I think I’ll just use pink SLGs for the rest of my life LOL. Thank you for the review, Clara! I was thinking about the Calvi Duo, especially because I 1. LOVE the Bastia Coin Purse (I have quite a collection of them, they are so versatile - coins, earphones, jewellery, using it as a little catchall for hairpins or security pins...), and 2. don't like the original Calvi very much - I have one in Rouge Grenat, but I've rarely used it; I don't carry much cards, so the slots were always a bit too roomy and big for my needs; but thought that this combination of the two would make a good small wallet, if you don't want to carry much, and don't want to take many different items with you - just a few cards, some coins, and a few notes maybe 🤔...
Oh, btw, you are right, your original Calvi is in Chevre Mysore (in the colour Rose d'Été, if I'm not mistaken love the Hermès colours, too 😊!)
Maybe I should order it and see if the cards slide out that extremely with the Duo. 🤗❤
Thank you so much for this review. I was interested in buying my first small Hermès item and thought that a small wallet or cardholder would be a good first purchase. However I didn’t think that a Bastia or a calvi alone would suit my needs. It’s good that they made something that combines the two which would be perfect for me! Do you know when this was first released? Is it available in other colors?
It was just released a few weeks back. I’m sure there will be many colors. As it’s a relatively newer item it may be harder to find but suggest you can check online or in store in case they get more stock ! Good luck !!
The rose confetti color is so pretty! But it seems alittle difficult to find and take a card out...
Hmm...I find it easy to take out; however if you do have many cards, you would need to sort through them like any other cardholder. Tx for stopping by!
Hi! When you put the card in the regular calvi, is it also 8 & 8 in each side?
Just saw it online( same pink ) today in Canada websites , I ended up bought normal calvi (etoupe }
Clara, which do you use more?
Hi Maggie the Calvi Duo is a brand new release so I haven’t really had a chance to use it at length yet. I plan to use both as I have a lot of cards and use the duo more for cash and coins with a few cards when I’m running quick errands. The regular Calvi I plan to stick my extra cards. They are both compact so will both fit in a small purse. I love the Bearn card holder the most however it’s also a lot more expensive. Tx for stopping by !! Have a wonderful weekend !!

Does the coin compartment pull completely out?
Hi there the bottom is attached so although you can pull it out it doesn’t completely detach. Hope that makes sense.

Which one is your favorite?
I like them both as I have a lot of cards. I like the one with coins slightly more only because I sometimes do need that slot for a key and miscellaneous coins but I like that the other one has a thinner profile for sure.
