Love this woman ! I have never heard a voice as beautiful as hers.... I was living in CA in the late 70's and early 80's and had the good fortune of seeing her in concert s couple of times. She is still beautiful as is her voice ! Thank you Ms. Oliver ... ❤️

She's a singer who has impacted many with her pitch perfect deeply expressive voice like no other. Her sound is so haunting. Also thought this was a studio recording. Hope she comes back.
The thing about Jane Olivor is that when she performs a song you've heard countless times, it's as though you're hearing it for the first time. She pauses where you wouldn't expect, departs a bit from the musical score to draw the listener's attention to a less familiar lyric.

I've seen Jane Oliver in Los Angeles and San Francisco, in Ventura California and I can't remember where else. The only person that can sing as well as she can was Judy Garland. Those of us who have had the privilege to see her perform live are very blessed.

Stage right and betrayal by others hurt her momentum. But we have a beautiful and compelling set of songs where she set new standards of excellence. If she came back tomorrow (she did once in Florida with a small ad in a local paper and the place sold out in minutes) she could again . But I suspect that sadly she is now safe, secure and retired. Our loss
I believe, when you look at her early pictures up until 2008, her last hiatus, that she had her nose reconstructed slightly and if so it just made her more beautiful than ever. Not only is she a beautiful woman but also a beautiful singer. Too bad she stopped performing in 2008.
My favorite singer of all time. Have seen her in concert a number of times in the 80s and 90s. Wish I could see her again. My angel.

One of my all time favorite singers singing one of my favorite songs. Such a simple, understated, and gorgeous interpretation. What a beautiful voice!
