Assuming my math is correct, that’s a 500% increase. The stock market is volatile as fuck. There’s nothing wrong with cashing out that early if you still make a profit.

During the peak it went from 350 to 480 to 200 in ONE day. If he maybe 3000+ profit from 10 he must have sold for over 306+ which is great imo. It's 63% of the peak 180% of what it was a day later.

Snoop was wrong. Game stock has crashed 60% as of now, the stock price peaked at $344 in June 2021....it is now $114. Remember the young man's Mom brought the stock at $6 per share. This stock is a very risky investment....he was smart to sale and gain great profits. Never invest in Meme stocks long term.....poor balance sheet. Stocks like Apple, Microsoft, PG are great for long term investments.

Maybe if he and others didn't paper hand it would have went higher? That kid was not smart, he was lucky. If people actually knew how to invest and held they could get far more. The stock was going to 10's of thousand or more but the squeeze was shut down by the financial terrorists who manipulated the market. I hope he bought back in... but probably not cause they don't understand how to invest. E.g., could have bought back in when GME was mainpulated down to 40$ and still made 2500$ and then when it went back to 300$ again sold again for 3k$ and then when it went back down to 100$ they could have bought back in and made ~5k. Or better, bought 20 shares the first go around and then made about 8k.
They don't know how to invest. They just got lucky.

Game Stop real value was low all along. It was a failing company. So it wasn't a good investment in the long term. It was a good investment in the short term because people inflated the stock value - and the kid sold at right time and got a great profit.

There’s a lot more to unpack from it and proper investigations need to be done. Securities and Exchange Commission SEC announced in their report that it wasn’t a short squeeze but rather a Gama ramp. If the shorts never closed out what happened to the short interest? Stock trading groups have seen it evident in the options market and converted into “swaps”. The short positions aren’t closed yet. This story might still have a long way to go. I’ve got my popcorn and I’m ready to watch it play out.

So, if the young man did not sale he would have lost around 60% of his profits. Meme stocks such as Gamestop are not good long term investments. Buy...make a profit....sale.
