If you want to see more HVT profiles I've made, I just released a new set! Check it out in the link down below: ruclips.net/video/5IlpyYHjl7k/видео.html
Origin would make for a very interesting boss battle. I'm somewhat ignoring the traces of Point Man that are within his profile. But that's not important. However, part of me wonders if he should be a Horizon lapdog. I love the idea of a proper mirror match, but since we're implying it is Point Man, it would give him some more dignity for him to belong to a tertiary BioCorp, or maybe he's simply an anomaly that shows up, here and there, without much in the way of explanation. Also, Site 83 having a stray Combine unit pissing off Horizon by laying down constant machine gun fire to keep himself from being captured is just hilarious.
Or maybe in site 83, in the backrooms this is just a repeatetion of 106 like the HVT named Chronos. He basicly keeps repeating in there forever until you just keep progressing in the mission and kill the original Chronos. Also, he does belong to a BioCorp did you learn the games story with your ass? What the hell is Syndicate or what does the TF27 do? Who does 107, 105 belong to? And Horizon is also a BioCorp kind of company. Horizon cloning him is the most reasonable thing they would do. I see no problem here.
Abberation was not expected to be a Combine Suppressor lmao, and imagine if Subject 106 becomes a high value target when you are looking at the high value targets in the syndicate base
I thought the Combine Suppressor when looking around for what image to give to Aberration, since at Site 83, you fight Horizon Hazmats and in a way, the Combine sorta resemble them. Figured I toss in another Half-Life reference since Trepang2 already did some (i.e. HECU at the Oil Rig)!
(Just a note, I do really like the idea of this, and the references in the description to the original picture's source material is great, but I'll just give some "thoughts" on how I think they'd turn out) Warwolf: Unless he's got Juggernaut levels of armor, or an invulnerability to stuns, tbh I think he'd just get decimated by the shotgun. Although that may be intentional, given the VH spawn requirement, compared to later HVTs which tend to be Rage exclusive. Jazz: Thruster pack enemy sounds neat, would definitely take the verticality of Data Center to full effect. But idk, I feel like that area might be a tad cramped? Then again, not many areas in Trepang2 are built with verticality in mind, so I suppose it would do well enough. Unsung: Well, given how there's not much in the way of gameplay description, I'd either assume he's A) just a "generic" HVT, like the Blue Sky Officer, or B) some sort of stealth focused HVT, given his former description. But, that is also the first level, so I can understand why there wouldn't be a gimmicky HVT on it. Anthem: A Power Armor enemy would definitely be visually interesting. Maybe gameplay wise, it's like a stronger but more clumsy Juggernaut? Jivy: Don't know anything about the original source material, so having an "alien ability" for a HVT would potentially be a neat spin. Not much else to say. Aberration: Uhh HL:A Combine unit. Haven't played it, but AFAIK they're tanky, so a unique Juggernaut with different mechanics. Origin: A sort of "Alt-106" would be interesting. It'd probably be difficult to create effectively, but could probably surpass the 107 fight in terms of "here's an enemy with almost equal footing as you". Again, I really like the idea behind this! Very neat stuff to see
Thanks for the feedback! So with Warwolf, he has several others like him in a squad, have extra resistance to CC effects like Stuns and Burn DoT, and wield Heavy Weapons. On their own, anyone could easily dispatch them. But together, they would be a bit of a challenge. Task Force Decima would appear just before you enter that Brutalism room as you approach the Penthouse Boss Arena. You know, when Eco Round's playing in the background? When I was thinking about Jazz, I wanted him to have like a Dash move like Patriarch, but can be done while mid-air and he has similar equipment like Viper from Titanfall 2. I must admit, Iron Dragon Data Center can be cramped because it's a lane map compared to Gunnarson Complex. Unsung fights like the original Black Ops from Half-Life 1: silenced Pistol, melee, can toss Frag Grenades, and could get the jump on you if you're not paying attention before you reach the first Customization Box. He'll likely appear when you reach the Office Lanes area where you obtain Frag Grenades, but I didn't want him to be too crazy since he would appear in Rage Mode. Something to make you feel like you got his cosmetics after beating this level on this difficulty. Anthem and Jivy are my concept ideas for mini-bosses, after reading other people's criticisms that most HVTs are just ordinary enemies, but different looks. Anthem would have heavy front armor like the Gun Shields you might have seen in Survival when fighting Lawyer Thugs, and Jivy has a force field that has extra explosive damage resist (If the devs were to consider that defense mechanic in Trepang2, haha). Both mini-bosses would not have the Tank weak point. I wanted to introduce Juggernauts where you can't just run up to them and nuke'em with Dual Full Auto Pistols with Compensator. Yeah with Aberration, the design philosophy is simple: a Hazmat Juggernaut that uses a Minigun and can soak up more damage, since Hazmat Juggernauts are just shotgunners. I'm not sure how the devs would factor in Origin in the Campaign. I came up with this enemy after experiencing the Infiltrator, you know when you "might" see him after completing any mission on Extreme or higher? Origin would be an instance where he'll show up when you least expect it, and then you have to "fight yourself" if you want to prove you have that "Unbreakable Will". Overall, pretty fun writing exercise and coming up with gameplay ideas for me! :D
[As you approach the target, you feel an uncanny sense of dread deep within your head... as if you can *_feel_* that someone (or something?) is reaching out to you..!] ... *_"I KNOW WHO YOU ARE..."_* [Suddenly, the high-value target was knocked onto the ground by a deft roundhouse kick to his ribs! ... But why did this target look so much... like himself?!]
Oh yeah! When I was creating Unsung's profile, I wanted to pick someone that doesn't use the standard Trepang2 NVG/Ski Mask look, so he could be seen like an expert assassin.
I used Samaritan as my base template for all of my custom HVTs that I do. The rest can be done with Microsoft Paint, by blacking out the game's original text and writing your own content where it would be! Feel free to use whatever fonts you like, as long as it looks similar, but different than what the game already has for their profiles!
you could ask modder to add Origin into some Horizon mission maybe at lobby in the almost last mission where you will kill horizon CEO and you will meet and fight Origin at main Lobby that would be cool
Oh, if Steam Workshop was a thing for Trepang2, I would get on this right away! A good number of people in the Trepang2 Discord want Workshop-Implementation for things like this.

I like the idea of Origin. It could explain the backstory of 106 and why he even exists the way he is.

First thing i instantly noticed was Warwolf being Roach from MW2. Nice.
Nice point man reference with the Origin Character.
Nice Task Force 141 reference with the Warwolf character.
Always loved seeing these on the Discord, awesome to see them here too!
Thank you! I posted them here so some of my friends outside of the Discord could see them. :D
Cool concept i like it :3
This is badass. Awesome! Would be cool if you made more.
Thanks! I got some more coming up later.
1:06
Nice command and conquer reference there.
Haha, great job spotting it for Jivy's backstory!
Did you use spectre from Black Ops 4 for unsung's picture?
Love the little references in the bios
Oh yeah! When I was creating Unsung's profile, I wanted to pick someone that doesn't use the standard Trepang2 NVG/Ski Mask look, so he could be seen like an expert assassin.
can we have a sample of profiles?
I would like some too, if the devs consider my ideas for their next batch of HVTs!
1:17 is a suppressor from half life Alex. Cool
How do you make them? I just thought it’d be cool to try it out

How do you write custom HVTs?
Oh there it is
i recognize the first one from lucky 13
It was an awesome animation!
Pointman would erase 106, he can simply kill himself thus making 106 vanish from the timeline as F.E.A.R. was never made
you could ask modder to add Origin into some Horizon mission maybe at lobby in the almost last mission where you will kill horizon CEO and you will meet and fight Origin at main Lobby that would be cool

@@JWR7274 i couldn't agree more
I noticed people using Nexus Mods for mods, but I'm sure that's another story.
WHERE IS THE Him. HVT AAHRHHHGHGHHS
I have H I M in the next batch of HVTs I wrote. I want to write some more before I compile them in the next upload.
