Dan Orlosky is a really dumb analyst. If the Browns traded Myles Garrett and the #2 pick for an injured quarterback who has not played one down in the NFL, then that GM should be immediately fired! I would not even trade #2 overall pick for the Vikings injured rookie quarterback. It would be different if he had some NFL experience and you knew what you were getting. I would much rather draft a guy and develop them rather than give the vikings my #2 pick. If it was a 3rd round pick for an unproven injured quarterback, then I could see it, but definitely not a first or second round pick for that guy.
We can’t spend our second pick in the first round on this QB class,sure you can grab a rookie in the second or third and see how he develops. Moving on we have Myles on contract through the 26 season and and the 26 draft is supposed to have a much better look at that position So theres there’s that possibility we trade Myles for someone’s first and next years first and other picks and we snag a QB and Myles gets his wish. I love Myles he’s a great guy and wants to win so let him go play for a top tier team and we will draft our way back into contention.
I wouldn't touch that trade idea with a barge pole. Why would I trade for a rookie QB that got injured before playing a regular season NFL down? I'd rather trade back with Giants or Raiders for an extra No1 & use that as ammo to get my QB next year from a stronger QB class.
I'd trade down to #3 with the Giants or #6 with the Raiders. Raiders would likely give up a 2026 #1, 2026 #3 and 2024 #2 & #4! Next year armed with two #1's, we shop for our new QB. Cousins or another QB can hold down the job in 2025! Use the additional #2 this year on an OT or RB or BPA at an area of need.
There are a group of some nice QB prospects coming out in 2026. Get a vet QB on a short-term medium-sized contract for the next 2-3 years and pile up draft capital for next year. Maybe look for an OL guy and a running back as priorities for this year.

They'd really be dumb not to do it at that point, and they'd also be doing Myles a solid by moving him to a possible contender.
