Moving back 1 spot would ensure you get a generational talent (Hunter or Carter). With extra pick from trade (probably a 2nd), gives you 2 picks in rds 2 and 3. There will be numerous qb's available to pick from those 4 spots. This way you get the best player in the draft in rd 1 and take best qb available in rd 2.
Goal = Winning + make the playoffs. Worst case scenario = very Browns like: Draft Sanders or Ward with #2 pick. Stefanski and Berry get fired midseason, new GM hates the rookie QB.. then they use high draft pick on another QB. See Arizona in 2018 (Josh Rosen) and 2019 (Kyler Murray). I don’t trust the job security of Stefanski to draft a rookie QB when next season’s QB class is expected to be much better.
