What’s up sir ! I’m new to the drag race game , we have been into crawlers and the short course stuff for a while ! I want to thank you for sharing your knowledge it really helps out us drag racing newbies . Thanks for the video !
I’ve tried a ton of different combos but for the first time last week I threw a set of narrow reactions on the showtime wheels and taped my vents closed. Now that it’s gotten cold they seem to be the best tire I’ve ran all year. Using reaction time prep with a quick low speed burnout and they seem perfect to me!
So this is what iv concluded as well ..if made some solid passes on the air filled tires but the reactions with foams have always been faster for me and more consistent.
never got them. kind of glad i didnt overpay. guess we will see what next season brings. yeah im at 75k so i barely made it. funny how the car runs better even though volts were about the same.
@@Dorkyand40 if you ever get your hands on a set I think you will change your opinion .. it makes complete sense you were probably overtimed... sometimes less is more
Time to stick my foams in my reactions haha holy .. I’m still learning and I’ve been running my reactions without foams right out of the pro line bags.
I have always been a person who thinks outside of the box ive been racing rc cars for 25 years and tires are the most important thing about racing rc cars but I have never use traction compound and never use foam tires just my opinion 😊
Man I learned a lot just about rc and racing today on the carpet racing. Amazing how it all just goes together. That’s why all these og rc guys are the fastest.
@@Dorkyand40 I have a friend at a Delaware Hobby shop who used to work and Race for Castle. He's my "crew chief" lmao. He told me 1 time to tape the foam to stop from swallowing as much.

My pleasure. My entire last 2 year journey is here. Tons of does and don’t I learned lol
Thanks for the tips. Great job!
Thank you sir. Appreciate it.

Good deal

Ditto
What rim should I put the reaction belted tires on ..I put some on a Losi rim, and it like the belted Proline tires is to wide..
the proline rims
@@Dorkyand40 Thanks!!
whats a good tire sauce watched some vids looks like ultra blue was to go but i don't think they make it anymore ?
get stuck
Sweet hit.. the only reason why you wouldn't reach full timing, is if you didn't reach your high-value activation.. have you ran a set of voodoo's yet

Frank runs the Reaction foams
Thanks for great information 👍
Always man

I’ve never ran them without until now. Frank runs 80mph so I’d say it’s right.

You’ve been racing 25 years? Wow you’ve got to try the compind The difference is huge!
Can u put this motor on a motor analyzer to see what your true timing is ?
The motor was tuned from nick bell at 32. Custom tuned and rotored
@@Dorkyand40 I got mine from desert hobbies with a 13.5 rotor. What’s the cost to get a custom tune ?
Go to nick bell racing on Facebook. He sells his motors there.
This winter lets do lives with MidWest
We all can for sure
@@Dorkyand40 If we cant drag race lets talk about it. I learn alot from ya'al🖒

Yep :)
What is bettle juice?
A tire break in conditioner made by sticky icky preps
Thanks brotha 💪🏼 new to no prep so been killing all your videos taking in all the awesome info I can, keep it up bro it's greatly appreciated 💪🏼🙏
Where I'm Ohio are you located ? Dayton here .
Manasfield my man
Hey buddy like all your information was wondering how do I find you on Facebook to chat with you
Your total rpm’s were less because you were hooking up and not spinning your tires.
I’d say so. The tire game was on point :)
Damn kid 1.998 Congrats. I dream of those times. So you done with Air in the tire?
Yeah for now. It’s just a hassle for not much gain imo. This works great.

That’s the todd soltaro trick :)
@@Dorkyand40 lol so you know about that..🤫
Yeah. Squeeze and tape. The heat helps build extra pressure in there. I think the foams is still better next time you buy a set of tires.
