Honestly, I have researched all ALL of the cards. I created a popl profile. My opinion of this is that for personal use it is fine. For a business, there is no way I would use this for my business. I use a different digital business card. However, I was interested in setting up a popl account (the free version) because once you get to multiple accounts of course as you know you need to pay which for my purpose at this time I wanted to use the free version so I decided to use popl for personal interactions and not business. There are so many reasons this is not a good choice as a business owner but I think its fine for college kids, and even adults to get easy access to communicate since the platform is very user friendly and makes it easy to use texting and email from the link. If this is the first one I found then I would use it but after looking at several, popl is more for millennials and personal use.
I agree with this for a few reasons. I don’t expect it to be as fast as other products similar to this but there are a few other options I prefer for this type of thing. I personally don’t like that they have to share their info with you.
Love your video short straight to the point and it don’t seem like they sent it to you to promote for them. Thanks for your honesty. I was looking into going this direction and I made my mind up from your video once again thanks for your honest feedback.
I'm so glad it helped and I hope you like it as much as I do. There are def a couple glitches here and there but make sure to setup the QR code and save it to the wallet on your phone as a backup and you'll be good to go!
Popl has an art team that will modify your custom design, they emailed me condor that they did this, which sounds like something that should never be done, I’m highly disappointed that they did this after I custom created a design. They completely changed my font and then mispelled a word when trying to recreate it, my mind is blown that changing some ones custom uploaded design is a thing. I don’t know if I even want them to send me a new one and give money to a company that would do this.
So the person you share your popl info with must type in their name and then you get send their contact info? Is that correct? I am trying to understand how this can be utilized as a lead source rather than people taking your business card and wondering if they will ever contact you.
@@conquerthecamera Reread his question please. I'm trying to get this info also. In your video it's about sharing your information but his question is how do you get their information? Do they have to write their name and number down on their business card and give it to you or is there a quick and easy way for them to text you back their contact number or what? It looks like it's a one-sided information transfer gadget also is there a monthly fee to it?
@@ricksivley7047 You're correct. When you use the card you can share your information but the receiving person has to send you theirs via text, email etc
do you question the security? like someone walks by and it airdrops your info to them by accident? now they have your email and phone number? I'm curious because it seems like something I would use but not if it will trigger on others phones if iIm in a crowd and someone bumps into me and now has my phone number.
Great question. I don’t put my phone number on the immediate contact information they receive. It’s an email and social platforms. After initial vetting, then possibly more info is given.
You have to tap your popl with their phone so I personally am not worried about it. I also am very aware of what information I am sharing on my profile.
Just keep a business card with the QR on it an it’s same thing. Keep one in wallet or in back of cell pouch. Let them scan it because I’m the same way about that tapping stuff.
wondering how they want to check the profile again if they not follow or save our number. example he only save my phone number. but next month he looking for my instagram. if use normal business card they can see the info again. but if this? how?

Great Day! I came to your video to see how to use Popl. Your video was very informative. Thank you.😊
My favorite business purchase so far!
Very helpful. Thank you for your honesty

I'm curious why it isn't a good choice for a business?
Would love to know your opinion on what would be a better/more professional choice than Popl.
I've continued to get a lot of business with this. As well as clients.

@@conquerthecamera great video and even better advice about saving the QR code to your wallet. Thanks!
@@sinceredom22 you're welcome! I hope it works well for you.
I assume it only works if the other person has the NFC function turned on
HOW DO YOU LOGIN ON A COMPUTER? I set up a profile but I cannot figure out how to login unless I sign up as an ambassador.
With that on the back of your iPhone how do you do wireless charging?
Good question. I don't have a problem when I'm doing wireless charges.

Nathan you literally just tap your popl onto the other persons phone and your information pops up. You don't have to type anything.

You can modify what people can see when your profile comes up. Is that what you're asking?
I'm curious about this too. If they want to visit my website again then they wouldn't have the info?
