Wii [U] If you want another game with gameplay like the Movie game or BfBB, then that's really all it is. It's decent, but rehashed a lot since THQ was going out of business at the time so their budget was low. If you really want more of that gameplay style, I would say just go for it. Otherwise, pass it up.

Wanna know how bad SB:PRR is? It took me about 4 hours over two weeks to beat it. No joke. I wasn't even trying to speed run it. It was not a challenge whatsoever, I definitely do not consider HeroPants or PRR as follow ups or sequels to BFBb and the movie game, cause those games were awesome
I liked the Truth or Square game. It wasn't anywhere near as good as CFTKK, BFBB or the movie game, but it was still better than our newer games made in the 2010s, like Surf and Skate Roadtrip and Planktons Robotic Revenge, both of which are incredibly sucky.
It's not only a great song, but the creators of this game could have played only the Goofy Goober song the entire level to win time and money, but this shows how much they loved their work and franchise by creating an entirely new song

I will agree the padding is a huge flaw in the game (as well as repetitive challenges) but the game itself provides an expirience as if you were in the film. A movie based game like spongebob heropants doesnt even come close to that and that is something i believe a lot of people who dont like the game fail to to give credit where its due. I certainly wouldnt call this game "really good" though
As brutal as this game is sometimes to the point of almost being unfair, this is probably my favorite final boss in a licensed game. The atmosphere is perfect, the fight is difficult but not brutal, as dying respawns you at the last phase you were in, and the transition to the final phase with goofy goober rock was really good
Even when I was a kid, I always thought this tune was so fitting. I mean, think about it. A king. You know, they're always proper, and well mannered, nice and fancy. When one loses all those characteristics and will do anything to kill you, this is when this song plays. I always loved when kings are final bosses in games. As I said, proper, and well mannered suddenly goes to BAD*SS.

Funnily enough, that was the original plan. It was originally going to end during season two, then it was decided to make the movie. Of course, it did so well the franchise kept going until it ate itself.
The soundtrack that went along with the first movie also has a Motörhead song on it. I believe the song plays in the scene where Spongebob and Patrick first enter the bar to get their car key back.
The music really sets the scene. Spongebob is all that stands between freedom and the world being slaves under Plankton's control and he's going to have use everything he's got to stand against the most powerful being under the seas who is under Plankton's complete control.
Not gonna lie, I find it kinda funny that unlike the other Spongebob games, just about all of the songs in this game sound nothing like Spongebob at all, not just the boss music either.

TheApexFactor I played BfBB, and Robo-Spongebob is another one of my favorite themes. But when you understand the lore behind Gwyn's theme, it makes it perfect for the fight.
You're playing as SpongeBob SquarePants for the final showdown against King Neptune! Due to the sheer length of this fight, if you die, you will restart at the beginning of the phase you died in, instead of having to restart the entire fight. In all phases, King Neptune will parry all your attacks unless you stun him by turning all the tables, then use Mr Krabs to reflect his beam attack back at him. Once he's stunned, use Sonic Guitar to hit the bucket! Do this 9 times to foil Plankton's plot! Phase 1: Dodge the flames he shoots at SpongeBob! Phase 2: Jump over the beams of electricity! FINAL PHASE: King Neptune breaks the floor of the Krusty Krab 2, leaving large gaps in it that will kill SpongeBob should he misjump and fall in! The difficulty spike halfway through was already nice and rather surprising for the game, but man those last two stages then the final boss were honestly impressive
Surprisingly, I never got this far. I only got up to Planktopolis until I quit the game. I had no idea how to pull of one of the hits on the statues, so I gave up. It was really annoying too because I still remember dodging everything like the game turned into a bullet hell on me. It's sad I never made it to the final boss, but I still like the game.

This is personally one of my favorite tracks in this game. I wish there was a battle for this in Guitar Hero
Surprisingly, I never got this far. I only got up to Planktopolis until I quit the game. I had no idea how to pull of one of the hits on the statues, so I gave up. It was really annoying too because I still remember dodging everything like the game turned into a bullet hell on me. It's sad I never made it to the final boss, but I still like the game.
