I heard that the film incorporates the song "Running with the Wolves" by Norwegian singer/songwriter Aurora Aksnes. She has a very unique voice, and has produced a music video and live performances of this song and many others.
She also sing in frozen 2 she the iconic note that help elsa

I think I have to disagree with you there on it not being as good as the other ones. Believe me, Cartoon Saloon is one of my favorite studios EVER, their movies are just MUWAH! My favorite! I love them all very dearly, BUT objectively and artistically, this movie really shows how the writers and director’s talents have grown. I think it was worth the 5 year wait, and it’s on the same level as Song of the Sea in my opinion.

This is one of the few movies I actually look forward to watching
I will root for them no matter what! I love Pixar but this is something special and deserve all the love and attention that Pixar will get either way.

We just finished this. My 6&8year old boys cried and cheered! They both gave 10out of 10.
How do you work on a production like this? It’s beautiful . I’ve never seen anything like this. Coming from Disney and Pixar this is literally like the next step up as far as graphics and art . I really hope this goes mainstream.
To me, Cromwell felt like the fusion between Governor Radcliffe and Frollo. The bits of prayer to god to seek self Righteousness and Fire feels like something Frollo would say and do.

The second I heard that the movies villain was called Cromwell, of all things, I immediately knew it’d be good. There’s no way that isn’t an intentional historical reference.
It's out here, in Ireland, on the 30th of October. I'll probably stream it and go and see it in the pictures when it comes out.
Song of Sea was simply an incredible movie, can't wait for this, tbh anything Cartoon Saloon produce is fantastic.
Not gonna lie, while I loved the other movies they’ve made, I can tell this is going to be my favorite.
Saw it today. It was really beautiful and surprisingly I felt my heartbeat race a bit around the third act.
I get why in Secret of the Kells the background becomes flat, facing us, while the characters still stand like they were still walking on a normal background, it's supposed to show how the town, modern life is a bit constricting, chaining like in Wolfwalkers! Where the panels are surrounded by chains, while Robin works as a maid.
I thought cromwell was more of a combination of Ratcliffe and frollo.
Oh yeah! I remember when I was watching it with my friend he mentioned there was a bit of Frollo in him too.
I saw Wolfwalkers this past weekend, I thought it was extremely beautiful too and the music was great, but I also feel like the film could have been longer and we could have gotten to know the character’s more

I just got back from from seeing it in the theater. It is phenomenal. This better get a bluray release, because there’s no way in hell I’m paying for apple tv+.

It's coming to the US in November on the 13th.
I got to see it in theaters during the limited screening. It was so good I went back the next day to watch it a second time!
I still think Song of the Sea and The Breadwinner are cartoon saloon's best movies, but Wolfwalkers also gets a 10/10 from me. It's better than The Secret of Kells, that's for sure. Although I think visually and in terms of the music Secret of Kells is better. But the characters and story in Wolfwalkers is what make this movie worth watching. 10/10 best movie of 2020.

Personally I liked this movie better than song of the sea. While I did admire song of the sea for it’s animation and the scene with the Saoirse and the seals to me almost none of the characters I found likable other than Saorise herself. The atmosphere of Song of the Sea also seemed a little more bleak compared to the other two films. While I have nothing against bleak/depressing movies to me there wasn’t enough colorful or funny moments to even it out. Personally I would put Wolfwalkers up there with Secret of Kells as some of my favorite animated movies. 😄 👍 I don’t know how it feels any different from Song of the Sea. Maybe it’s because both Secret of Kells and Wolfwalkers had a lot more colorful forest scenes and had sassy female characters. 🤷🏻♂️ My only real Problem I have with Wolfwalkers is that it feels way too fast paste compared to the other two movies.

Man, I really gotta see Cartoon Saloon's movies... I'm missing out on some great 2D animation.
I loved this movie, if I honest maybe its Cartoon Saloon best work today, maybe Secret of Kells have a stronger story, but the visuals alone put this one above in my eyes. This people have done 4 straight master pieces to be honest, they are the new LAIKA, an underrated studio using an art style in animation that the big studios dont want to use because not sell as much anymore and despite doing an amazing work, keep been ignored by all this pretentious awards that only care to give awards to DISNEY (pixar is the same at this point) because MONEY.....but people who love animation and story telling can tell, who is the better one and who have more passion right now.
It’s really hard to pick between them. Like there is a clear trajectory between the female characters they’ve had especially including Breadwinner. And the story felt more focused, but it didn’t have that same humour, the reluctant father figure had a greater character arc and there was a more specific villain. They really are quite different that I couldn’t pick.

The Secret of Kells is a great animated film.
Song of the Sea, on the other hand, was kind of a disappointment in my opinion. The Breadwinner was better though.
I liked Song of the Sea more than any animated disney film I've seen.
