If you are feeling hopeless right now due to the state of the world and of the Church- Remember St Jude is the Saint of Hopeless Causes! A very powerful saint.
I'm happy to be one of those nasty, prehistoric people holding on to the perennial teachings of the Catholic Church. Have no problem with that. Thanks for the encouragement Dr. Ralph. May God grant you perseverance until the last day.
St.Jude is a powerful Saint. He is talking in some sense about infiltration and modernism, tied to the sins of the flesh. This sounds familiar in our day. Great video.
Just as the apostles wrote these letters in troubled times, so we also today need to speak/write about these issues which are detrimental to the future of our families and society.
I haven't listened yet, I will after work, but I just want to say I read Jude this past year. I decided to read the epistles from back to front to give me a different focus, and I blew my socks off! I find it very very significant also that it is the last epistle before the Book of Apocalypse. Sins of Balaam and Korah! Jesus save us, we see what is happening now. I hope everyone wakes up and prays!
The Book of Jude is a great vehicle for your message Dr Martin. The bishops who are straying are forgetting the simplest of truths. Love the sinner, but hate the sin. All are welcome. The Church is not a club. But, although you are welcome to 'come in', no matter who you are, you are not welcome to continue unrepentedly in sin. Why is this so hard to understand?
Thank you Ralph, for all you do. This is needed today, and yes I needed to hear this today. It's a slippery slope and so easy to slide down. Thanks for the wake up call. God bless you! 🙏
Thank you Ralph ~ you are truly a blessing to those of us that have been listening and learning from you for so many years. I thank God for you and your ministry. +++
We are taught in the "Word of God", not to take from or add to, these Holy Scriptures. Also, Jesus Christ is the Same, yesterday today and tomorrow" Amen 🙏
There are people who tell me things like: "Religion is not a reality though. It’s based on belief. It is a choice. Many of us choose not to partake in your faith." "I don’t have to believe in your god or follow the rules of your god." OR say things like: "It is an objective fact that there is no proof of the existence of god, a higher power, or the divine principles in most religions" When I tried speaking to people who do not know Jesus this is the sort of stuff that I hear often OR worse. If they have some other faith, it is equally hard. Much of the world thinks our relationship with Jesus isn't real that it's a non-reality. That He is someone who cannot be personally known to have a relationship with. I think the only thing that will change that is Christ Himself, our self-sacrifices for others, and martyrdom for the love of others. People need to encounter God and there are few ways we seem to be able to so without some self-sacrifice for them OR Christ Himself to reveal Himself to them. How late is the hour? I worry about the people in the world. It seems much dark than people realize. People have no fear or man anymore much less God. Even their fear or death and of taking a life (or worse) due to the evil in their hearts seems to be waning fast. Time seems to be accelerating. Ever since the use of electricity modern power sources it just seems to move faster and faster even accelerating more with the advent of the computer and internet, then again with the smart phone, social media, fast quicker, darker. Yet there is an appearance that it is okay to many. It's like the Laodicean Church. Lord have mercy on all of us, Maranatha.

Jude is one of my favorite books of the New Testament. It's very relevant to todays times.
