God Bless Ralph, amongst the struggles of daily life, I find the greatest struggle is the one within, between what I want and what God wants. I find great comfort in a passage from Micah 7- 'Do not rejoice over me, my enemy! though I have fallen, I will arise; though I sit in darkness, the Lord is my light.'
"We must stay resting in the Lord in the midst of evil spirits. Our peace, trust, joy, hope, love, our gratitude is in the Lord. All our hope is already in us. Get up every morning and do what you have to do and carry your cross with joy and hope in your heart...."

The hope is in Christ! Let's not get distracted by temporal transient things. If we are susceptible to be distracted by them, it means we're not sufficiently focussed on Christ. We're moving too slowly and so easily knocked off course by a gentle breeze of vanity, evil, or scandal. Solution: pray and focus on charity - ora et labora!

I wish that God would take away my desire for marriage since it's been a decade with no man being interested in me (I'm a lady) I go to an fssp, nothing.... I love God and I don't want these nagging thoughts telling me to be angry at God for not having a husband or children.... If this is what having a desire for a family does for me, I would rather not have it at all. I feel like there's no hope but I know I cant' give up
