I’ve been constantly applying to office jobs of any type for the last two years with no offers. I am 61 and had worked in real estate office jobs for the previous 10 years, however due to the higher interest rates and lack of inventory of homes that market has tanked where I live in Columbus, Ohio. every job I applied for on indeed said it had 200 or more applicants and so I usually would never hear back . Sometimes I would go on interviews, but they would make remarks about my age and how much longer I would be working and that type of thing so I could see they wanted a much younger applicant for the job. My daughter has worked as a nanny and done well at that so she suggested I look for a job on care.com to work for a family in their home. I just accepted an offer that pays much more than my previous jobs and I’m starting next week. Sometimes it’s best to just try a whole different approach when what you’re doing is not working year after year!!!
None of my hourly jobs work with my mommy schedule I had to leave early one day and my boss got mad then I reminded her that I told her I needed the day off on those specific days. My husband can’t work until school starts up again after the holidays we can’t afford child care. Talk yourself up show them your skills and desire! Don’t work for less than your worth. If you can’t pay your bills where else does the money come from?
This is the type of motivation needed for 2025! Many people have lost their jobs, and think all hope is lost, but it is not. All they have to do is make a choice to want to get on up, and not wait around. 💯💯💯💯💯

If you live in Texas we are hiring DPS Department of Public Safety all holidays and weekends off salary pay excellent benefits and it’s a state government job.
I really am glad you made this video. As parents it’s extremely hard to find jobs that can work around our schedule and our children’s. The 9-5 now want you to work 40 hours, no time off, and no lunch break 😂 no seriously it’s definitely hard out here. I applied to a job and got it after taken a few months off to care for my son
