Thank you for your willingness to review this new company, GUNSAN, and for helping them improve their product(s). I'm glad that they are willing to let you review their product and their willingness to listen to your evaluation and your suggestions. I think the air gun community will support them and encourage them.
We have some great manufactures of PCP and other air guns, but some competition and innovation -- hopefully will encourage all to make even better productions.
Thanks for setting up the ~45 yard range. The outdoor range I have access to has 50 yards, 100 yards and 200 yards.
Do you have any thoughts about how well the GUNSAN ASYA would do at 100 yards?
Thanks,
Richard
I can only guess, we lost 85 fps at roughly 45 yards, so at 100 yards it would be shooting at about 400-450 fps. This is just a guess and weather and wind would have to be factored in. Have a great weekend Richard 👍😉
Outstanding review buddy. I am going to be doing another review today on mine by adding a scope to it. The red dot performs great but I wanna do more with the Monstrum scope on it. Mine lives all the ammo I feed it also. Great job Gunsan!
Thanks Moose 👍
Seems like you're back to your old self JC after a nasty experience. Nice review of a new brand!
It took awhile, but yes! Thank you for your support and I appreciate you watching 👍
Airguns are realy comming into their own World
and i'm looking into my First PCP Rifle.
and the Asya is a good Contender.
Tell them you are shopping around and saw the video on AGD. Ask them to make you a deal you can't refuse😉👍
Or buy a Avenger And love it
Two words The Hammer
Great review!
Pretty nice looking gun!
I like its features and accuracy. Gets a lot of shots on a fill. I'm going to keep my eye on these guys.
I appreciate you watching and thank you for the comments 👍😉
It seems to be performing excellent great job on the review
Thank you! 👍
A very, very nice review JC! Totally enjoyed it. Especially that 40yd range segment was way nice to get in there also. Thanks for the effort!
The rifle seemed to perform quite well. Nicely shot em slugs. But this one would not probably be the one for me. Woulda been good with a fillport cover. The buttstock being able to turn on the side was neat, but did not really like the adjustable cheek rest design.. But Gunsan seems to be on a good way.
Bror, I hope things are good. GUNSAN is new and very receptive to new ideas. So I hope they are successful and we'll see some great new stuff in the future. How's the family?
@@AirgunDetectives All good here, thank you for asking. Hooe all good there also.
Very nice to see new guys to try put some new good stuff out.
SO far, JC, I'm loving that ! The case alone says a lot about them. Being a bass player, a good case means a lot. The air bottle looks sweet, as do the lines on the gun, AND made in USA ! I love the mags, the pic /11mm rail,
That dude in the intro definitely has the cool factor lol. Can't go wrong in all black with a cigar. And these guns rock! Thanks for the info
Chris, thank you for watching 👍😉
I have the same gun / I cleaned the barrel 1st/added finish to the stock. I like to air supply to shoot / mags are cool , I am mark my mag to indicate last shot
What did you use on the stock to enhance it?
Sanded it ’sand and 8 coats tongue oiler Dry 24 hours between coats. The wood is nice / looks Grate👍🤠
@@markreese4203 thanks for the info buddy👍
Great Video ! Thank you for giving every detail on this rifle !
Thank you for watching. I think they are great rifles and I look forward to reviewing your future models as well!👍😉
Hi JC,excellent review, in an increasingly competitive market,it's another good option, good precision and energy.good price too.as you mention there are some points to improve, normal of a new product, good work.Gunsan, all the best my friend. Cheers
Thanks Buddy! I hope all is well! Nitro says, "Hello"🐕👍😉
The Hatsan probe plug from Flash fits perfectly in that port
Keep the great content coming love your Channel i love the 45yd accuracy test please keep doing that on other reviews please
Michael, thanks for watching and I appreciate your support 👍😉
That is a nice gun JC
Beautiful looking very accurate.
Great editorial as always🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you Mr. Bertram!👍😉
Great review, be looking at this rifle down the road. Very accurate
I appreciate you watching!!👍😉
I'M SO GLAD I SUBSCRIBED TO YOUR CHANNEL.. I LOVE YOUR REVIEWS THEY ARE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND THAT RIFLE IS BADASS GREAT GREAT REVIEW A.G DETECTIVE 📛
Thank you! I really appreciate your support 👍😉
Hi J.C, Great review as always I have to take my Hat off to Gunsan must be hard starting out going to have to get me some of those H&N Slugs they look interesting.
Thanks J.C for the T Shirts love them brilliant choice in colours i see I have the one you are wearing i shall where them with pride big thumbs up 👍
Thanks Ben, I am glad you liked the T-shirts. Starting a company can be difficult with all the competition. I appreciate your comments 😉👍
Interesting guns and your usual great review. My "standard", however is my Stoeger Bullshark in .22 At $479.00, it comes regulated, weighs just over 6 lbs, has Olympic accuracy from a 19 in. barrel, and comes with a built in moderator. Trigger from the factory is a crisp 2.2 pounds, perfect for hunting. I'd say the guys at Gunsan have their work cut out for them if they want to compete on this level. Oh, did I mention that the Bullshark was designed by the folks at Beretta, and is warranted for 5 years ?
Great review, very impressed with the new gun. American made too !
Thank you so much for watching! This was a fun rifle to test. They are actually built in Turkey, I should have clarified that during the review😉
JC you are a magician brother. First person to get a version of this rifle to be accurate past 25 yards! What an excellent job finding the pellets / slugs which work best! I really appreciate the hard work on this rifle and it's review! Thanks for the 40 yard target shooting too! Do you think barrel polishing or lapping would make it better? It's priced in the range of the Marauder, What is your choice for the money?
Email me buddy and I'll give you some insight 😉
Great review as always 👌
David, thank you for watching! I appreciate your support 👍😉
Glad that you are back, and we'll J.C, soon sorry about your mother.
Realize this is a 2yr old video but i cant see that they are around anymore . Did they go out of business ? Seemed like a pretty cool lil gun .
Testing the guns at 40yrds is much better.Nice gun.
It's a beautiful gun and I was ready to buy one until I heard the cost. I can get a better gun without the negatives for that price.
When you display slug shooting could you please tell us what the width head size is
Did you mention the diameter. 217 or .218 I apologize if you did I missed it, I have a milano T2 tried the H/N 218 they where spiraling
I dig it! And good review as always. I'd do a .30 if available.
What country are these manufactured in? Just curious.
Turkey
Gorgeous gun
I appreciate you watching 👍
Wow that one guy looks a lot like Sam Elliott from Roadhouse 😂😂
Great Review as always..... Does it come in all black??
Yes is does! With plenty of rails on that model as well.😉👍
I always thought it would be sketchy using a screw on suppressor even though it has different threads than firearm threaded barrels. Is there really much to worry about in your opinion in regards to the ATF?
As long as it is designed for an airgun and used on an airgun there is no issue. ATF is specific about "Firearms" and to date air rifles are still that, air rifles. I always use the term "muzzle brake" or "compensator" 😉👍
@@AirgunDetectives yeah that’s what I got from reading through court cases and the like. I just thought it would cool to hear your thoughts on it since you’re a retired LEO. Thanks for the response.
I'd love to have that in a .357 for backpacking and hiking
Is the butt stock inter-changeable/adjustable for length of pull with aftermarket available choices, Magpul...? Their website is somewhat lacking on technical detail. Other than that, I wish them the best of luck!
Thanks' J.C.
Yes it is adjustable for the length of pull. Not sure if this is mil-spec, I will have to double check. But the stock that comes with it is very nice.
Reminds me of the Ataman M2. If I can get a Huma regulator for it then I wonder if it could be filled to 200 Bar? That would make it more practical for me anyway. Higher shot count and more consistent over all. Matt Dubber did that with an Air Arms rifle back in the day and it worked very well for him. I think he had a S410. The pressure cylinder should easily handle another 1000 PSI and the reg would keep that extra pressure off of the valve and allow the gun to function normally.🤷♂️ Still…cool gun and awesome review…Thank you.
Yes that’s where this design comes from 🤫🤫
@@cattlemanguns7622 so my idea has validity? I can Reg this gun and fill it to a slightly higher cylinder pressure?
@@cattlemanguns7622 this is not your guns is it?
They can you post a link to the 21 and 23 grain slugs. I didn't catch the brand in the video
Those are H&N Slugs
it looks so cool 😎👑
It was fun to shoot👍
How can I get my hands on one cause there payment method is wired no credit cards
Looks like the cattleman guns with a new name.
I like it 🔥
Thanks for watching 👍
It looks alot like a kral np02 , that's been upgraded
Most of the rifles built in Turkey do have a common resemblance 👍
@@AirgunDetectives i have the kral and like it. But this looks more accurate
You can buy better aftermarket clips in case setting them is out of the question
Looks exactly like the Cattleman Gun T2 air rifle !!!!
Same wood stock
Same folding stock
Same Country of manufacture (Turkey)
Everything else seems to be identical, I can’t help it but wonder if it’s the very same gun, just rebranded !!!!.
I can not confirm or deny that since I have never seen a Cattleman in person....but I always like to go with my gut 😉
@@AirgunDetectives
See it here and get a little familiar:
ruclips.net/video/LED__xr7kj4/видео.html
Great looking pcp but the ping ping has put me off it
A good regulator would fix that. Hopefully we'll see on in the future 🙏
This is turkish stuff known as cattelman in the US and Kervan Seezer and Retay in Europe
Don't forget the rest of that other names it's called Sovereign air and pissed off lol
There also another company called cattle man that sells them there perty much a kral there all from turkey like the new crosman guns and there are parts that will interchange I have a cattel man the thing that's cool about them is they give 15percent back to the w.w.p for those who served 👍✌️👌💯🇺🇸🎯
The gun with a thousand names it's Tuesday we're going to call at Cattlemen but on Wednesday we're calling it Sovereign air but on Thursday we're pissed off and on Friday we got gunson
There is not much deviation from these Turkish air rifles. Although there is accuracy differences and I think they do use different hammer springs. Thank you for watching 👍
They Look Just Like The "Cattleman" air Guns , only a lot more accurate, great review as always 👍
Where do you think they got them from 😬
It is..... that air gun design gets more action than a toilet seat
@@cattlemanguns7622 oh come on Victoria tell us the truth is gunson buying guns from you cuz airguns of Michigan says they're Nothing the Same
@@gumbystown 😂🤣🤣
@@cattlemanguns7622 oh boy. Cats out of the bag now.
I purchased a gun that's almost exactly the same, I definitely got burned by that company , that was the Pishtov ras1,
Hopefully these are not the same guns because even that case that it came in looks exactly the same, regulator didn't work, barrel machine work was horrendous,
Fps all over the place, would corkscrew every pellet, couldn't hit a barn door at 30 feet ,
Looks like a Cattleman t-2!
Those are the same guns as the Cattleman. And the Cattleman guns are 100 bucks cheaper.
cylinders The material???
Great review but for the money it seems to be lacking.
Hi Ed, thanks for watching 😉
Non-regulated? 29 ft-lbs? I have a slingshot that do 30😂😂😂
Oh my..........not a bad price either
Hi Matt, thanks for tuning in!👍😉
My brain switched off at non-regulated..
A good detective would say.....that looks exactly like a cattleman.
I have not had the opportunity to review or shoot a Cattleman. A good Detective will not make a statement until he collects all the facts. The appearance are definitely similar but we need to check under the hood and take it for a test ride. 5 series BMW's look similar but they have a variety of engines. Happy Shooting 😉👍
@@AirgunDetectives I think their are at least two other companies that use the same receiver. Pishtov is one.
Sorry the pellet doesn't lose energy because of the weight. The pellet loses energy because of the shirt the slug has no skirt therefore it doesn't lose energy. Drag coefficient.
Slug still loses FPS down range regardless, not as much as a pellet though.
@@r.vargas5410 Yes it does just not for the reason stated in the video. Every bullet loses energy down range.
Looks exactly like a Cattleman.
It looks similar you are correct. I have not had an opportunity to shoot or test a Cattleman so I am not sure if the performance is similar 🤔 Thank you for tuning in👍
Cattlemen guns same exact rifle
looks exactly like cattlemen
The shell is similar, but they shoot differently. These are imported from Turkey. I believe the hammer spring is different. They matched velocity to accuracy. Thanks for watching 😉👍
Not for me. I’m old school. Just want a gun that looks like a gun, not a tacticool weapon. It’s awesome to see group testing beyond 20 yards.
AEA better deal
The cattleman gun has another new name the first one sucked bad, p*** something it was called. That gun has been around awhile, nothing new here except the name
made in turkey land
This thing looks awesome!!!
