    From 2022 the government will start give another benefit and you can choose ( 1000 PLN every single month for 1 Year or 500 PLN every single month for 2 years). So, in the end if you will select the first option you will have 1000 PLN every month plus 500+ benefit and it’s 1500 PLN every single month through the whole Year

    Nice video but point of correction, in portugal, once you give birth as non and both parents are not citizens or permanent resident of Portugal, the child automatically becomes a Portuguese citizen at birth because Portugal operate the 'jus soli' law.
    The only requirement is ONE of the parents must have being resident in Portugal for at least A YEAR.
    Therefore, your child is a citizen at birth while the parents will have to wait for five years to start processing for their own citizenship.

Apart from rather obvious difference in education between say a doctor and a bank teller, so no I would not go us far as to say that every doctor in Poland speaks passable, or even any English, but language skills aside there is also a question of liability to be considered. Doctors maybe reluctant in giving advice in foreign language for the fear it will be misunderstood. On top of this there is a question of accents - on both sides.

    • @Awhobiwom
      @Awhobiwom  3 года назад +1

      What was discussed in the video is how it works with Polish Citizenship not British.
      In Poland if one of the parents of the child is Polish then the child will have polish citizenship.
      In Poland if neither of the parents are non polish then it takes a lot longer for the child to become a polish Citizen

  • @misscj7846
    @misscj7846 3 года назад

    In UK and Ireland you can apply to get the passport if you had birthed the child in that country. .. it takes time (a couple of years) but you'll eventually get a passport of that state and you'll be given the state child benefits. Now Idn if the law has changed now in 2021 but this was common when I moved back in early 2000.

    • @emuoboogbodu5261
      @emuoboogbodu5261 3 года назад +7

      That is NOT correct!! since 1982, for a child born to two non British parents, your child only becomes a British citizen if you have a permanent residency or if you have a British passport. Also, a child born in the UK can be eligible to be registered as a British citizen after either one of the non-British parent acquires permanent residency or British citizenship. In Ireland this was possible until the rule was changed in the early 2000s (it was called Irish born child law). The USA and Canada still operate jus soli, ie any child born on their territory becomes a citizen from day one irrespective of the parents status. I hope this clarification helps for the benefit of all reading your post.

    • @zbigniewtuznik2684
      @zbigniewtuznik2684 2 года назад

      That is not true. The UK born child of non-British parents can only gain right to become a British citizen After the parents got UK settled status/British citizenship themselves, which depending on their circumstances may take 5-10 years and many thousands of £ in applications fees.

Problem w tym że dzielisz ludzi na czarnych i białych zamiast na mądrych i głupich. Uczciwych i nieuczciwych itd. Odmówiłbyś im prawa do powrotu razem z małżonkiem?

      That is true that many things are even better in Scandinavia. Mainly because Scandinavia is significantly richer than Poland. On the other hand life is much cheaper in Poland and school tuition is more affordable.

    Great content! Thank you for all you do.
    She mentioned that taking the kids to Government schools and learning in Polish is cheaper, how can the child then learn English?
    Are there other options available for the child to learn English, or they'll have to be taught at home by the parents?
    Thank you for all you do once again.

      Well for most of us , we were taught in English in our schools but some of us still managed to learn our native languages, so I guess extra english lessons can be arranged for the child, and interaction in English can add to the child speaking English. Many kids learn even up to 3 languages , somehow it's easy for kids .

      learn english at home

    • @lm157
      @lm157 2 года назад

      At home, or at scholl if it got English lessons. If you're English speaker, it shouldn't be a problem to talk to your child in English, this way your child will become multilingual. Do you think Polish kids got Polish lessons wherever their parents went for jobs? Don't think so. Some work you have to do yourself with your child.

Or if I am on contract then what happen? Is there any government site link where I can check all this?
