Thanks for your video! I agree with much of what she says but not all. E.g., she says to wash your supplies more when you're sick. That's a no brainer and I couldn't agree more! I don't agree with washing your supplies in the kitchen sink - even if you wash your sink well there's too much bacteria. Also, she's using hot water. All the manuals and different things I've read say use warm water. Using distilled white vinegar on your humidifier & your connector adapter is a great idea. I've read you should use vinegar every 2nd or 3rd time you wash your machine. It's a great disinfectant! One last thing is they say to allow your equipment to dry naturally away from sun light...
Thank you, that was most helpful. Especially using the machine blowing dry air through the hose to dry it out completely. I just completed my first week using this thing and i am very paranoid about breathing mold and bacteria. ..Also, you're very cute and funny😊
If you pick up an inexpensive turkey baster, you can pull off the bulb and fit that over one end of your tubing. It's not a tight fit. You'll need to hold it tight. While submerged in the soapy water, squeeze the build repeatedly to move the water back and forth through the tubing. Then rinse.
Question about the contacts on your Resmed climate tubing: have you had any issues with it acting up yet? Your video is the only one that really shows how you’re cleaning it versus just directing to clean. Even the Resmed book just says to clean the hose but doesn’t tell how, nor does it caution to use care with the electrical contacts end. Thanks in advance!
Why is Cpap equipment suggested and you have to continually add more and more things, do you know that the majority of us who supposed to use them can't afford to buy all of the things that's suggested. We're on a fixed income. And if it's paid for by Medicare we can't get in touch with the company. As for myself I'm not computer savvy and I don't have a computer in the first place.
Just hanging the tubing to drip dry, it can take days. After rinsing the tubing and drying off the outside, fold it over, ends together. Grip the tubing at the center point and swing it in a circular motion as the centrifugal force moves the water droplets out of the tubing. Be careful you don't take out any light fixtures in the process. Then you can hook it up to the CPAP and let the air finish drying it if you want.

Great tip!!! Thanks for sharing!
Great video. Loved this. So helpful
Bad advise : using the kitchen sink even though you “ cleaned “
One should get a plastic container that would only be used for washing
This was so helpful! Thanks 🙂
You’re welcome
Thanks great information

With all the plastic and silicon parts and stretchy headgear doesn't water that hot cause these parts stretch out of shape?

Are you afraid to use the so clean because of the ozone ?
I was using the So Clean, and cleaning. But I have stopped using the So Clean because of some of the reports that have now come out.
Thank you
How long does it take for your headgear to dry?

It can take awhile for the headgear to dry. That’s why I always wash my supplies first thing in the morning.
How are you submerging your hands in that steaming hot water?
I make it just hot enough to tolerate but not burn myself.
How often do you clean yours?
Once a week
Your sink must be huge. The water ran for 6 minutes. 😂
What about Ajax?
Im slow. Its difficult 4 me to do things right and follow instructions.
"You guys?" How about just "you?"
