Question 1: Handling Testing with Limited Documentation and Developer's Departure
- Gather information from business analysts or subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Document requirements and cross-check with SMEs for accuracy.
- Collaborate with business analysts to improve documentation.
Question 2: Key Challenges Faced in Testing Job
- Limited documentation and incomplete requirements.
- Unstable or misaligned test environments.
- Time pressure for early release (use risk-based testing).
- Lack of communication within the team (suggest improvements).
Question 3: Dealing with Conflict with a Colleague
- Analyze the conflict's cause and schedule a one-to-one meeting.
- Understand perspectives and work towards common project goals.
- Involve the manager if needed for an amicable resolution.
Question 4: Handling an Uncooperative Colleague
- Understand reasons for their behavior and schedule an official meeting.
- Involve the manager, ask clear questions, and document clarifications.
- Escalate the matter to senior stakeholders if uncooperative behavior continues.
Question 5: Reaction to Software Release Date Change
- If release date is moved later, replan testing and continue working.
- If moved earlier, analyze reasons, assess impact, and prioritize testing.
- Seek help from the development team and onboard additional testers if necessary.
