I'm really astonished of the precise cut he does on the long parts of the sword without the need of a metallic ruler.
I don't use ruler.
I can cut well than using ruler.

Thank you for the tutorial! This is probably my favorite weapon in gaming history and I am excited to build it.
I ran into some trouble though, what diameter is the pvc pipe? I bought a 1.25 inch diameter pipe but it feels really thick. I'm not very confident it's the correct size. I converted 3.2cm to 1.25 inches.

I like the ways u make all those katana cosplay etc, but im having a hard time sticking together, and using glue etc.

Prolly a year too late but to make it easier to stick two surface together using glues like instant glue, sand rough both surface and clean out the surface
A rough surface will make it easier for the glue to grip onto and adhere better
