I am trying not to give up and return it, but it is a very frustrating device! I have watched a lot of tutorials and practiced, but I am afraid if I keep practicing I am damaging my hair b/c I have to keep going back through to curl it. It just straightens and wrinkles. And I have naturally wavy hair, so it can curl. I was looking for something to be easier than a typical iron or wand.

You’ve always been so thorough and patient in explaining the technique 🥰. I’ve been wanting your iron for years now it’s so Purdy and sleek . And I love the way you make your curls on yourself . Always are so voluminous .

I hate my iron. I wish I didn't. I have watched a hundred videos and practiced so many times and I still find this to be so difficult to use. I am sad that I spent so much money on it and didn't figure this out within the 30 days when I could have returns gotten my money back. I appreciate all the help from you and your company to assist us but I am very uncoordinated and this is too much of a challenge. I just can't afford to spend this much time trying to use a curling iron. :-(

    Lefty Here!
For all you lefty’s- you have a bit of a curve if you are not used to using your right hand. I tried reversing the process (thumb on dots, fingers behind light) and it works- but not great. This is a right handed tool. You can make it work but it isn’t easy.
Decided to try it right handed and follow the tutorial exactly. It works like a charm! Best curls ever. I have never been able to curl my hair. Stick with it!
Extra benefit- strengthening my right hand and hand/eye coordination!!

    • @tymestyle

Can I utilize the same sectioning technique if my hair has layers? For years using my curling irons I would clip up my hair and curl layer by layer. Is it different with this product?

    • @tymestyle
      @tymestyle  9 месяцев назад

Hello! We find the fastest most effective way to curl is to:
1.Split your hair down the middle in the back and pull everything forward
      2. Then start with the lowest section on either side
3.Curl the piece and then throw it over your shoulder
4.Then take the piece right above it curl it and throw it over your shoulder
5.You will keep taking pieces moving up and forward and throwing them over your shoulder using you shoulder as the divider between curled being in the back and not curled being in the front
6.Eventually working your way to the front piece and you will have one side complete!
      7. Then switch to the other side reflecting the same pattern by starting with the lowest middle piece
When you get familiar with this pattern you will find it’s not only the fastest way, it's also a clean way to create the curls without working over your nicely curled hair because your curling motion is always working forward. If you work from front to back you will be causing frizz and chaos on the fresh curls:) Hopefully this helps!

I got this iron for Christmas 2 years ago and still cannot for the life of me figure this machine out. My hair just falls out of the iron no matter what I do. I have very fine hair but a lot of hair and it’s very long and can curl my hair in less than 20 minutes with my hair straighter and around the same time with my curling iron. This iron just seems to make my tendinitis worse. I can maybe get one good curl out of this, it just looks like terrible crimps in my hair 😢😢😢. I’m a mom of 2 little ones and had high hopes for this.

When you’re styling, don’t forget the four main rules.
#1 Thumb behind the power button
#2 Guard plate should be closest to your roots. You should see the power light in the mirror.
#3 Rotate the closed iron away from you, kind of like revving a motorcycle.
#4 With a gentle grip glide throughout the length of your hair, moving towards the mirror.
*** extra step: twist your curl back into place to help set the curl higher.
