The wooting 60he is hands down and not even close the "BEST" gaming keyboard existing right now.
Coming from someone who bought dozens of switches for custom keyboards for the best and fastest for fps gaming, bought razer huntsman and apex keebs. But the wooting 60he is just insane.
Rapid trigger is CRIMINAL!
It just gives too much advantage. It's basically a cheat code.
One thing I did not mention about Rapid Trigger is that once you RESET a key with it, you can reactuate it by PRESSING the switch down again as much as your ACTUATION POINT is set. Check description for links on my two other Wooting videos where I explain Rapid Trigger even more!
Man I loved this review. It really made me consider what is possible with playing around with different actuation points, release points and styles of keyboard control. I play a wide array of genres, melee games, strategy games, platoon shooters and fast paced shooters, and with every single one I see different possibilities.

Your content is on fire and as someone who usually buys these tech to up my Game. Someone who actually has the ability to game at a high level (Based on your insane crosshair placement, movement and aim) your input is godtier plus the editing is superb
this Wooting board is definitely something brand new and has the amazing key actuation feature, it's also hotswap as well!
yeah hotswap that only supports one type of switches… that makes hotswap pretty much useless.
@@cl4ssic nahh. It's useless to put other switches here. It's intended to be used for analog and to make use of rapid trigger. if you're gonna use other switches then buy a keychron. lol.
It's hotswap so you can easily mod, lube, grease, etc it without desoldering and re-soldering, Easy to switch out or replace the switches if for some reason you damage it. It's repairability is A tier and convenient. no need to send it to the service center if ever. Your take is really weird

Im happy with your review. I've seen other reviewers rate this as the best keyboard ever but I have a hard time believing that. None of them actually going over how it actually sounds and feels. Sure switches and stabilizers are lubed but thats not all too a great sounding/feeling keyboard. None in the sound tests I heard it sounds great, it sounds okeish just like you noted in your review. Thanks for being honest and giving the review what its actual about.
One very interesting part of this board is that you can actually just throw this into any tray mount 60% case like the tofu60, mekanisk klippe and fjell, as well as a bunch of other ones, would suggest trying that if you're going to keep it on your desk, if anyone needs help with how to fix it up to be basically an amazing custom board i could probably throw my discord in this comment chain
Wooting really has been making high quality stuff since they started. Also, it might be that they're still relatively small, but they tend to communicate with their customers quite a bit. Very cool.
This ones on my wishlist, but I'll have to save up for a bit :p

You could mod-tap backspace like this: short tap is backspace as usual. Long press is ctrl+backspace (deletes the whole word to the left).

throw that 60he module into a better case and you can have a better premium feeling main keyboard, still waiting on mine to deliver and then sticking it into a fjell ultramarine

@@Orion-redx7 Yea it feels so much more responsive than a regular kb. But I mainly play fast paced shooters so idk how ideal it is for tac shooters.

I'm using this board for a few days now and it's the best one i ever had, i use it for my web dev job and gaming - it's perfectly good for just typing too!!
@@maicon9 just move the fn key to the first key right side of the spacebar. Can also put it on capslock.

I wanna chime in with some of my opinions on the unit I have:
Typing: Idk what kind of plane your ducky comes from but I don't have any big complains about this. I see it as less of a good gaming one and more as a low to low mid tier coustom in terms of typing.
Actuation point anything below I belive 1 or 1.5mm is only available for these kinds of keyboard (so I think to say if you don't use 0.1mm or 0.3mm don't get it is a strech.
A part from these main things. You can change the plastic case for sth tha feels more premium, for a premium sum.
And lastly sth not to do with the video at all. I love it in TrackMainea so far, it feels wonderful and I am glad to be rid of action keys. So if you were wondering if raceing feels good imo yes!

You should try more premium keyboards for sure. The GMMK 2 is bottom of the barrel typing experience wise. Its unlucky that the QK65 R2 sale just passed otherwise I would definitely have recommended you to check that out.
A good quality bouncy gasket keyboard makes a world of difference. Typing is a joy and even for gaming. Especially in FPS games strafing feels a lot better when you don't bottom out on hard plastic/metal but on a soft cloudy pillow like feeling.
Yeah and those "premium" keyboards have 20ms+ additional latency lmfao

@@IamNiceEMS absolutely true, look at rtings' latency tests (which don't even consider key travel). even in a best cast scenario where you have eager debouncing (which you need to apply via qmk and doesn't exist by default on any boutique keyboard) there's still 2mm of key travel on the average switch which adds roughly 10-20ms of human latency. The 1mm akko silvers on my k65 mini @8khz still actuate 10ms slower than the wooting due to the key travel.

was thincking about it but gona go with corsair k70 tkl as its a lot cheaper also i prefer tkl . great vid !
I would not recommend k70 because you lose a lot of features compared to this or the apex pro and only save like 10 dollars
You do get what you pay for. The k70 isn’t a good feeling keyboard. But it’s easy to get your hands on

You can lube, switch out case and keycaps to improve the typing experience and still get tose incredible features and switches
Would not even consider it if I played some games, e.g. apex, but for CS where I struggled with counter strafing ever since transitioning to mechanical keyboards (extremely heavy handed) Wooting completely fixed this issue, which I was so conscious of for yeaaaaars.

Bought one and fully modded it with a custom case, new keycaps, lubed switches etc.
The 60% layout sucks hard. Hell, anything below 75% sucks imo.
That's why I bought a razer tartarus and have another keyboard on my right. Lol. full keeb is too big. 60% is way too damn small. lol

Half size. dropped. MAKE A FULL SIZE KEYBOARD. I play plenty of games that need em, and also work. These 60% are toys.

Razer huntsman mini has rapid trigger built in it’s called rapid fire .. I wouldn’t buy that ugly keyboard with that big ugly yellow strap … idk what all they hype around it is
It does not have anything similar to rapid trigger. Yellow strap can obviously be removed 😂
