I actually did put the boss explosion sound near the end, but I made it too quiet 😅
I had realised this a bit ago but as you can imagine I cant exactly fix it now, oops
This would be sick af in the actual movie. Just imagine having a random but appropriate callback to the RPG games that would be cool and give the movie more character.
I was holding my breath to the very last seconds of the credits in hopes of even a single paper Mario shillouetted against the black ending screen.. a ttyd book close would be IDEAL but we don’t expect those things.

I was really hoping Fawful or even Geno to show up bit even without them the movie still stands very strong

The enemy death sound effect is so iconic to me, I could recognize it anywhere

Fun fact: the starman power is so strong that it instantly kills EVERY enemy upon physical contact, as you can plainly see here, Bowser is taking multiple directly hits from both mario and Luigi while the bros are in their starman form...
conclusion: Bowser is quite literally a Tough Guy

Mario suplexing Bowser to Luigi so he can ram headfirst into Bowser’s gut feels like an actual Bros Move.
As someone who has absolutely no nostalgia for Bowser's Insofe Story and just played it a few months ago for the first time, this is dope.
Same but not for the first time, I played the first half over several months in like 2013 and the second half a few months ago in like 3 hours
I played it like a year or two after it came out. Damn, the nostalgia
I leveled bowser to level 100 while investing solely in power, allowing me to one shot dark bowser with just a single punch AND knock out his giant form with a single Broggy Bonker while attacking his damage resistant belly.
As someone who played Bowser's Inside Story via emulator and played it last year, it's absolutely dope. Period.

This scene is basically the perfect representation of what it must be like for the bosses when the bros unleash their bro attacks... especially the super-strong late game ones that do a TON of damage.
Fingers crossed we see a Mario & Luigi easter egg next movie.
Even something as small as one of the Bros Attacks would be so fun to see.
If they did that, maybe there'd be a glimmer of hope that the M&L series returns

Honestly my favorite part of the movie was how they portrayed Luigi in the ending. Reminded me so much of superstar saga. Yeah, Luigi gets scared easy at times, but when it matters most Luigi absolutely would come through to help out his brother.
0:23 The spin sound before the double dive kick just to sell the impact was a stellar addition many lesser creators may have missed.

We need a movie adaptation of Bowser’s Inside Story and Bowser has to be the star of the movie and Jack Black returning to voice him, in fact all of the movie cast returning, except DK for he has no place in it. Fawful could be voiced by Jeff Dunham and Midbus could be voiced by Brad Garrett
It really would have been great if they just did Bounce Bros as a reference. Think they’ll get hammers in the next movie?
