For those that don’t know… this song is an oldie but goodie and can be found in the National Baptist Hymnal.

Fantasia can "tear a church up". Her voice is so amazing and spirtual. Not every singer can do this. People that love old school R&B listen for the "gospel" in a singers voices, however, very few of the current R&B singers have that sound today.

Shes singing about some very serious truths. Yes. Nothing but the blood of Jesus can cleanse us from sin and the stain. There is no redemption/salvation without Jesus blood. His precious blood accomplished the New Covenant for humanity to enter into with their creator. This is a wonderful song. Emma. ❤❤❤❤❤

I'm familiar with secular music and as a born again believer left secular behind to live exclusively for Jesus. Secular music has a spirit but not the Holy spirit. I only want to glorify Jesus now because I hope to spend eternity with him.

You may find wonderful experiences in listening to as much old stuff as possible to identify to varied flavors and distinct presentations. Old Negro spirituals. To hymns. Old country Gospel. Etc. @@EmmaOhm Hey little sister. Not just diverse music because music is a channel/medium. Good or evil. I grew up in music and the Holy spirit showed me once I was born again. Some so called gospel or religious music is like Satan presenting himself as an angel of light. True music God honors will glorify him. Tell real stories or accounts of how Jesus works in a life because he is Saviour. Master. Lord. King of glory. Lamb of God. The Holy spirit will often minister where the rubber meets the roads and experience of life but he will always glorify Jesus and point a heart toward Jesus. Repentance. Gratitude. Joy. Sooth the struggling soul and heart. Eradicate confusion. Darkness. Be the healing Balm. Fill us with his heart for his ways. Were going to live with him eternally we may as well give ourselves exclusively to him. We are bought and purchased by his own blood. We dot belong to ourselves anymore. Whether we live for him or not he has sovereign authority and ownership of us.❤😇
