I like the part when Dibs has finally had enough of Carrigan’s abuse and pretends he’s gonna smash the capsule. Up until that point she’d been having fun with her new ghost powers and how she looked as a ghost but when he acts like he’s gonna throw the glass Lazarus capsule and she realizes that’s her one chance of being alive again and gasps in horror. And as powerful as her ghostly powers were she was helpless in that moment and could only threaten Dibs with continually haunting him as a ghost. And when he’s says she’s six feet under, that’s such an epic insult to her in that moment that no matter how powerful she thinks she is right now, she’d still know that she’s just be another corpse in a coffin and how much that would bother some as narcissistic as Carrigan.
Always bugged me as a kid she’s all ghostly now so take a peak in there only to see what here reaction would be then trick her into crossing over if still possible
Can we all just agree on this....if she realized that the treasure was a baseball and a glove she would have ended it all herself anyway. 🤣 Was probanly the best for all parties.
An autographed baseball from a 1941 Brooklyn Dodger? On what had to be his rookie year? A hall of famer in Duke Snider? Owned by the rich heir of an inventor who tragically died? That's at least worth a couple of hundred.
It was great way to defeat a villain but it was also somewhat unsettling at the silence and nothingness after Carrigan’s ghost crossed over. It didn’t matter how much she begged or pleaded, that was it. And she was now completely helpless and gone forever. She may get to be in the afterlife now but that was it. She would spend the rest of eternity knowing that she wasted her one chance of life on earth by getting herself killed for a financially worthless treasure and that she even had the second chance in her hand and her arrogance caused her to lose everything at the last second. I always wondered about the probable epic temper tantrum she probably had right after crossing over because of her own narcissism thinking about how the Harvey’s had beaten her. With how cold and indifferent Carrigan had acted at the beginning of the movie, a funny end scene could have been her funeral and her big city rich friends snickering at her unfortunate end in some beetlejuice like dark satire.

It's a reference to Aladdin 's Disney in 1992 when Aladdin traps Jafar into becoming a genie and being trapped in the lamp I still feel sad for Carrigan because even if she looked for it, she didn't deserve to end up like that
Cardigan was selfish, spoiled, and unkind. If she'd let go of her own ego and move on, she probably won't end dead literally. But she had it coming since she didn't have a good relationship with her Dad.
I think they were lovers because Dibbs has always a crush for Carrigan, he was in love with her Amber and Victor " Vic" Kat's ennemies in school are a children version of Carrigan and Dibbs, for me Carrigan and Dibbs must know each other since Childhood

I always wondered why didnt dibs and carrigan didnt just run off with the Lazarus serum? Couldnt they just sell it on the market or black market or something? Could have made a fortune off it at least i think so.
My guess is like a scientist would need to see if it works plus if they tried to sell it than they wouldn't make that much money selling it. Honestly i would have go bank robbing as a ghost. When Carrigan died she should have started scarring banks stealing money and when she was done she went back and come back to life
