I, a spanish speaker, and American born hispanic from parents of Puerto Rico, a commonwealth of the United States of America, applied at at least 50 jobs where I specified that I speak Spanish for jobs that require Spanish and am still unemployed. 🤷🏽♂ You win some, you lose some.
I highly doubt that the American job market is somehow giving special preferential treatment to hispanics all the sudden. Maybe you applied for 4 jobs that required Spanish. In which case, you don't speak it. Hispanic Americans are NOT having any easier time than you are.
In the last 4 years, I lost my job, due to "bidenomics", my department folded. After 8 years of service I lost my job, my home, my savings, my 401K just trying to survive. At my age, I have no hope of ever financially recovering from this.
