This kinda thing makes me wish they would tweak the wheel physics a bit so that it doesn't sink into things so much, I have the same issue with catching my vehicles on weird geometry on the driftopia map
@EpsilonRosePersonal if they did try, they didn't particularly succeed. A few videos back when scrapman built the larger wheelie motorcycle heexperienced some weird wheel physics with a single wheel on its own. That shows me that the physics isn't quite there yet
Deep Dip 2 Trailkmaker when? Funny how trailmakers tries something that Trackmania is known for while these games focus on the exact opposite. Trailmakers give everyone the same car, while trailmaker seems to normally be most about optomizing your own build.
try making your wall rider with the slim wheels they are the only wheels that don't have that sink into the ground bug. you will have less traction but you won't crash on every seam on the course and the traction issue can be solved with more downforce.
what about going for the course with a wallriding hovercraft? that should mitigate the inconsistencies of the course. The only problem this would come with would be braking/turning, and it´s probably not realistically achievable with "natural" downforce and requiring downwards-thrust. Also: Trackmania when?

I thought of the video idea to make a ski trick contest with the gang: You go to the top of the Snow island hill ( in danger zone) and everyone can have 3 gyros (maybe 4 for symetrics) und there is no propotion alowed, just sliding with skis over the snow. To choose the winner you could maybe make it that one of you says a trick and does it and if one of the others cant do he gets a letter (maybe with the word "ski" or "trick" )
also if you ever revisit this concept. perhapskis? put em on the belly of the vehicle su when it bottoms out the skies just do ski things instead of the violent clashing and grabbing. works awesome for very slammed drifty cars
I think you should add downward facing thrusters that are only active when you're going less than 50 kph, they shouldn't be very powerful though, just enough to help with the entry.
you wanna know the most irritating secrete about trailmakers? the different cameras change the physics of your vehicle eeeveer so slightly. first person makes control more stable for some reason but your vehicles terrain interaction becomes more janky. race has the smoothest physics but its also the worst camera imo and its not super consistent. vehicle follow is the most consistent but that whole shaky glitch ruins that one aswell. and then orbit cam is real fun cus if you teleport to a spawn i.e. backspace or just select a spawn from map, or the biggest problem, repairing in a race start zone were it black screens you and auto alighns you, yea for some reason your vehicle physics load and act more broken than if you just do a static repair so you get two verry different vehicles one of which is complete crap. i know all this for a fact cus i build unlimited class high complexity fine tuned race cars all the time and race against my ghosts for hours till it gets to the point where im pretty much just mimicking it over and over cus i cant get a better line, then i switch camera and all of a sudden nothing i do matches the ghost im either faster or slower and trun better or worse. its measurable
Scrap , Here's an idea, competition you and a gang of 4 friends each create a good at everything vehicle and something like 7 in 1 or 8 in 1, and race each mode to see which is the best friction race one point at a time and do as many races as you have vehicle modes

It could be separate evolutionary paths (each player sticks with the same plane they had from the start but changes it each round) so that there's more diversity and like reactionary evolution and stuff Eg if your opponent uses thrust vectoring, next round you could put on an emp instead of an extra smart cannon
You should create a modded smp on scrap mechanics, this would allow the viewer and you to have a completly new experience, I think it would be good for your channel and the channel of every other RUclipsr who joins. Hope you like my idea.

I think u may need to turn off downforce more. When inside turning would provide you enough 'downforce', the extra aero just pushes you into the ground too much

At 4:35 ish, you fell off because your suspension rebounded and pushed upwards more than the downforce pushed down.
