Hello :) This film is a lovely move about family and how he protects his 2 younger brothers from the wrong way of living from how he was when they were younger. Teaching them an honest way of living. Agneepath 1990 (an Amithabh Bachchan movie which is amazing and if you get a chance to please check out the trailer) is more similar to Scarface which is such an amazing x1000 performance of the great Amithabh Bachchan.

If u take a straight forward line of thought then yes it is not an acceptable ending in today's time and looking back it does feel a bit weird that this was acceptable and funny back then....jeepers!! But... If u think about the plot, they are dock workers, she wouldn't be there in that tavern dancing and singing with someone she didn't like or trust the male lead..And her character is very feisty... So she would have slapped the crap out of the male lead if she was forced into something.... So... That was my two cents about it. There was a time was being chased and being a tease was an accurate depiction of young love, lust and romance. With him having lipstick all over him here suggest to me she was just as complicit in this game of cat and mouse. Interestingly in this movie from what I remember there is a powerful scene where a woman (not sure if it's this actress Kimi) is talking about women's rights and equality and Amitabh says men and women are not equal because they can't do this and tears his shirt open revealing his bare chest. There was also controversy around "Jhumma" being a Friday and a Holy Day in the Islamic faith from what I remember many many years ago. Overall this song and movie a very strong cult classic and talking point. I also love how you complimented the actress and the Mick Jagger moves!
I too agree there was too much of quick judgement without understanding the setting and background of story by him.This song was in a play ful setting .He might be also influenced by external media rape culture image imposition on India , actually I was shocked to here rape culture comment for this song , its too big word to use it so casually.
