I THINK I know what the "no" is in response to. In the original story, once Antinous is dead and the suitors realize they're all about to be slaughtered, one of them tells Odysseus that Antinous was the ring leader of the whole thing and "he's already dead, so you can let the rest of us go because we were just following him!" And Odysseus basically responds "Nah, you're all f*cked. Shut up and die." If I were to hazard a guess, I think it's that moment. If I'm right, that's gonna absolutely kick ass.

I always felt like the slaughter at the castle was Odyseus getting catharsis. He went through an extremely unfair punishment, fighting gods and monsters. Set back after set back, half weren’t evem his fault. He finally gets home and now he see people harassing wife and son. In that moment he got to donwhat he couldn’t in his journey, fight back. He wasn’t the fool being punished anymore, he was the god in control.

I love Odysseus just popping out of the shadows when the suitor dares to say they might still win since they know the palace so well from hanging out in there so much like: "the AUDACITY!" Also: I said somewhere before but I like the fact that by the end Odysseus becomes the monster and the last battle is done in his territory. On his home turf where there is no flipping way he can loose even if he tried. I think this is actually the first time he effortlessly has the upper hand without any help. He was the intruder throughout the story, fighting against "monsters" mostly just protecting their homes. By the end he has become the monster fighting to protect what is his and fending off the intruders. I think this has actually become a really well done full circle. Jorge said Odysseus has like a "boss battle" at the end of each saga and usually Odysseus was in the position of "the player" so to speak. This song really feels like by the end, Odysseus is no longer the "player" but the final end boss

A cool thing I noticed is that after the intro in the moment the suitors are panicking looking for weapons, the danger motif is played, probably the one time where the danger isn't directed towards Odysseus but is Odysseus.

Honestly, I thought the lyrics were "this man learns from every fight" which would be fitting as Odysseus is known as the wisest Greek, so him learning so frequently (considering he fights so often) makes it a scary thought to face him. Would make sense considering he used Scylla's technique of aiming for the torches and took away the suitor's weapons to avoid the calamity he faced fighting the cyclops.

@@dalfman9270 the song "hold them down" (the song isnt out yet, but there is edited versions of the clips of it together) explains it better, but basically they wanted to murder telemachus (odysseus' son) and force penelope (odysseus' wife) to marry one of them and do uh well unpleasant things to her on top of that

I love Odysseus just popping out of the shadows when the suitor dares to say they might still win since they know the palace so well from hanging out in there so much like: "the AUDACITY!"
Also: I said somewhere before but I like the fact that by the end Odysseus becomes the monster and the last battle is done in his territory. On his home turf where there is no flipping way he can loose even if he tried. I think this is actually the first time he effortlessly has the upper hand without any help. He was the intruder throughout the story, fighting against "monsters" mostly just protecting their homes. By the end he has become the monster fighting to protect what is his and fending off the intruders. I think this has actually become a really well done full circle. Jorge said Odysseus has like a "boss battle" at the end of each saga and usually Odysseus was in the position of "the player" so to speak. This song really feels like by the end, Odysseus is no longer the "player" but the final end boss

A cool thing I noticed is that after the intro in the moment the suitors are panicking looking for weapons, the danger motif is played, probably the one time where the danger isn't directed towards Odysseus but is Odysseus.

Honestly, I thought the lyrics were "this man learns from every fight" which would be fitting as Odysseus is known as the wisest Greek, so him learning so frequently (considering he fights so often) makes it a scary thought to face him. Would make sense considering he used Scylla's technique of aiming for the torches and took away the suitor's weapons to avoid the calamity he faced fighting the cyclops.

just noticed something now that the thunder saga is out. odysseus is aiming for the torches just like Scylla was odysseus is pictured as a warrior of the mind he’s learning things from his foes and his mistakes. This could also be a reference to how Odysseus is now a monster
