Do you remember making necklaces of clover flowers when you were a kid?

oh yes and with daisies and a few other flowers as well. We always had the goofy white clover blossoms in our yard and they were perfect for necklaces. I do love the color of the crimson ones thou and I wish we had some of those.

You are so welcome! I love having a good roster of simple and small filler flowers that are easy to make since they can really balance out an arrangement. Glad you like them!

we are using buttercream so you can't just work indefinitely with that the heat from your hands will make it melty even when your working in a cool room. If you want to be able to practice for long stretches with less interruption you can always work with royal icing , no butter means no melting, but your flowers will get hard when they dry which isn't the best thing texture wise when eaten but does mean they can be made ahead and stored. good luck with your practicing!

I love how thorough you are with your explanations and demonstrations!
I just got hired to be a cake decorator (with zero experience, but I do have an artist/graphic design background). I get to train as an apprentice with the company for 5 weeks and I will definitely be watching a whole bunch of your videos for a while!
