I made these cookies today and I’m quite impressed by the flavors. But next time I’ll add more rosemary. And I reduced the size to a 100 g dough ball and when I was ready to bake I sliced them in half to make a mini-NYC. I live 100+ miles north of NYC and know there so much good food there. So, I love that I’m making an NYC cookie from London bakers. What a wonderful world we live in. Thanks so much. I love you all! ❤
I run a small cookie business, and last month I did a white chocolate, pistachio & dried cranberry cookie -- people were VERY wary at first, but once they had it, their minds were blown. This is such a unique flavor combo that combines sweet, salty, chewy and crunchy -- IT IS SO GOOD! The rosemary would be SUCH a unique addition, I'll have to try it :)
Love watching Sally & Dane , they work well together. Another fabulous cookie recipe. I bought Jemma's book. Fabulous recipes. 👏. Thank you for sharing and showing how to make the NY cookies Sally & Dane. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a happy New year 🎉 ✨️.
Herbs + fruit in baking = amazing treats (lemon/thyme shortbread, strawberry/basil cupcakes, grapefruit/tarragon sorbet...)! I say call the cookie "The Tannenbaum."
Made it yesterday, baked it today... amazing 🤩 love it soooo much, will be our must Christmas cookie together with the other one, the one with candied ginger and mixed peels.. thank you...❤️❤️❤️
I love the look of the cookie. Maybe something like the “Holly Jolly” Cookie “Mary” Christmas cookie Uhm I’m allergic to pistachios sooo I’ll have to find a suitable substitute for it lol.
Love your work guys, sadly haven’t got my hands on a copy of the book yet but Santa is a good guy, he should come through 😀 thanks so much for another fab video xx
This looks so interesting!!! I'm gonna try caramelizing the white chocolate for this! Finally some use for the pistachios I have here lolll. I wonder how it'll tasteeeee O_O
I am making these right now but there are different grams of cranberries in the video and the description. Same with the pistachios for rolling. Which is correct? Love the cookie recipes and hope for the book as a gift this Christmas 🎄
id personally go with the 60g cranberries (im baking these cookies today) and 50g pistachio since she had a load left in the bowl :) hope this helps! and tell me how the cookies tasted please!!
Nice recipe guys! Again!! But quick question, why the freezing time and the oven hotness are different than for the classic NY cookie? You said 2 to 4 hours of freezing, and 190°c for this one but it's only 1h30 of freezing and 180°c for the classic one 🤔
When I was a kid, I made a tree ornament from an orange with cloves stuck in it. Since this cookie has orange, cranberries (popcorn/cranberry string), and rosemary "needles," not to mention the fact that Sam requested it to taste as such, it should be called the Christmas Tree NY Style cookie!
Yumm. Can’t wait to try this. Also I pre ordered your book the Nile and they’ve said the distributor has changed the release date to 23rd April 2023, I’m in Australia and am just wondering if you think this is real or have I been scammed 😮.
I made these cookies today! They look Amazing but I have a trouble.. I cooked then about 16min but when I opened one cookie they look like raw inside.. But outside they look cooked how it is the right texture or what can I do to fix it?
The cookies are really soft when they are freshly baked. They will normally get a bit firmer if they cooled down a bit (10-15min). If I baked them they are crispy on the outside and soft / gooey on the inside.
I don't know what I am doing wrong but over this last year every time I make these cookies they don't spread very much. They always end up almost dome shaped. They taste good still but they don't spread like they should. Does anyone have an idea what I am doing wrong. I've tried a few things like altering the temp and time and it makes no difference.
It's confusing. In the video, Sally says to add 75g of cranberries. But in the "more info" tab, where the quantities are listed, it says 60 grams. So idk which one is right?
@@samandy24 If they don‘t spread maybe your freezer is too cold. Try bake them at a lower temperature. I need to bake mine for 18-20min at 160-170C Fan.
@@pichahu5615 you mean at a higher temp? I did now, baked it at 415F, still did not spread. 2nd time making this....I had to use a spatula to flatten the cookies out myself.... so annoying. >_

I would LOVE a fully savoury cookie! Like a cookie with bacon in it or something 🤣
Martha Stewart has a recipe for bacon and potato chip cookies. You could add in some rosemary and nuts too.

Hello, love these cookies! Just a question, do we need to toast the pistachio before using?
A savory cookie wow sounds interesting.😊🤯

Aguardando ansiosamente pela versão em português do livro! 😍🤩
Thanks for the recipe! I can’t wait to try it. Is that 190c with fan or without fan? I have Fahrenheit oven without fan.

Hi!! Did u used salted pistachios?
I get so many requests for gluten free cookies... any suggestions on which non-gluten flour to use?
I loved!!! 💖
Please, do make "cranberry bliss - cookies" . Thank you so much!!!
Looks so delicious. 👌 Thanks guys.
this I definitely to bake
Always the best
Hahaha I think my favourite part of the video was Dane suggesting we go swimming 😂😂 🏊🏼♂️

This looks great. Are the pistachios roasted? And are the cranberries with sugar? I can’t find any dried ones that don’t have added sugar. Thanks

Perfect cookies 😋
At first I thought the butter was cheese and I thought that would be so interesting with those flavors.

Ojalá pronto hagan su libro en español

Please help me here..what if i reduce the dough ball size to 30grams... what should be the temperature & baking time?
I say Sam deserves to memorialized by calling this the Sam cookie or Sam's Holiday Delight.
Love u guys! Hope i can meet youu one day❤
Does Dane have his own channel or page?? His make up is on point I need to know how he did it
I’m actually in the process of making your Black Forest cake!
My paddle attachment snapped in half when I was mixing a rubble-y mix like this the other week 😂😢
