- Elyse Perry is very proud to be born and raised in Kalamazoo. She earned her bachelor's degree from Lake Forest College in Sociology and Anthropology, and her Master of Education degree from the University of Minnesota.
Elyse began her career in camping, moving into non-profit management and has now found her passion in fundraising. Currently, she is the Associate Director of Major Gifts at the WMU Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine. “Though I do not hold a degree in fundraising, I always say that I am in the family business; philanthropic work was the dinner table conversation in my house growing up as I was raised by an incredible group of very skilled female fundraisers”.
Elyse’s proudest role however, is that of mother and wife; she and her husband, Carson, share two wonderfully wild little boys, Everett and Burton.
