I first discovered The Warning back in mid 2015 and have not missed a single day for well over five years in which I have listened to or watched a video of these amazing young sisters. In my 61 years of life I have never been so into a band as I am these young ladies. I have been saying for many years now that they would one day be known world wide and be recognized as one of, if not the greatest power trio of all time. As you see here, they are well on their way to bringing that prediction to fruition.
It has been a joyous ride watching them “evolve” from three very young girls doing covers on RUclips to the full on rock stars we now see exploding on the world music scene. With the release this song “Evolve” and their other recently released single “Choke” and the yet to be named and released album from which they come, these sisters have not just opened up doors of unlimited opportunity, but kicked them down! I believe they will absolutely sell out ANY venue they chose to perform, including major arenas and stadiums.
It is also worth noting that the sisters have stated on their Patreon page that they do not consider either one of these songs to be the best nor their favorites of the album. Matter of fact, they rate this one as only the 10th out of 12 songs on the entire album…..let that sink in!

The Warning are three sisters that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 16 as of March 2021) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 19 as of March 2021) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 21 as of March 2021) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to RUclips for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsed for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, RUclips and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on RUclips and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.

Greetings from Fresno, California CADZ. Great 1st time reaction! This is the 2nd single off of their yet to be released 3rd full-length LP. "We wrote - EVOLVE - about humanity's dangerous obsession with evolving... and how sometimes that evolution leads us to slowly leave our humanity behind. Is this dehumanizing evolution right or wrong?" The Villarreal sisters are amazing songwriters and performers. Each one of their original songs is an absolute banger. Their second album, "Queen of the Murder Scene", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and psychosis and eventually suicide. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards. Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI Century Blood", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "Escape the Mind"; and it is amazing. Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage. After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group last fall. We are all patiently awaiting their 3rd album release.
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock. Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico. They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 5, 5 and 3 years old. Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC. When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are Dany (Daniela - guitar, keyboards, lead vocals, backing harmonies), 21, Pau (Paulina - drums, keyboards, lead vocals, backing harmonies), 19, and Ale` (Alejandra - bass guitar, keyboards, backing harmonies), 16 years old. They have already written and arranged 45 original songs that are all bangers! I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

If you want more from this band, check out their previous single "Choke" from May 2021, or start at the beginning when they had they first viral success on YT in 2014 with their "Enter Sandman" cover that even Kirk Hammett himself liked. 22 million views can't be wrong.
