I have to say as someone who lives in the USA, I am happy to pay postage for kits and other needle felting items from the UK, even if it is expensive, simply because I can't find what I need where I live. I am completely envious that needle felting seems to be so much more popular in the UK. I always enjoy your vlogs. I would love to be able to go to York. It looks like a fabulous place to visit!
York is amazing, it can get really busy but we had a good day. Yes, I think we definitely have good supplies over here so we are very lucky xx

Hi Philippa ! Always enjoy watching your videos. I’m in the US. I just wanted to say that the kits I’ve ordered here don’t come with instructions. You’re referred to a video to watch for instructions. I like watching the videos but would prefer to also have written instructions. I’m glad you include them in your kits. I wish shipping weren’t so high so I could order one of your beautiful kits. I’m a senior citizen on a tight budget. Looking forward to your next video!

So lovely to see what you've been up to last month Pippa. I agree with you about shop commissions it makes it so difficult to sell at what you feel is a reasonable price especially as needle felting takes so long! It's good to see that you are doing so well with your kits, they look so good. I also just wanted to say that i would probably expect to pay more for a video course than a pdf, so don't undersell yourself. Looking forward to seeing you at Yarndale. Not long now! ❤
Yes, really looking forward to Yarndale, can't wait. Thanks for the advice re the video, I am never too sure. Shops and galleries are just so expensive, I guess from their viewpoint they aren't as their overheads are huge but still 50% for the first month is loads. Speak very soon (only three weeks to go!) Lovely. I use to use a lot of glue as well. But I learned a quick few stitches all Ng the top to.join the top and bottom were quicker then glue.

It's a bummer about that shop, but I think you made the right choice. 50% and 30% is a lot!
So... I'm going to throw out my guess as to what the name of that wool is... Ginger Pup? The other would be Golden Hound. It's hard to tell with the differences in computer monitors.

Maybe you can tape cards onto those display thingy you bought. If people see them behind your cows etc they might want to buy it or order when they see cards

Really helpful video regarding selling in shops. I know shops have rents and overheads etc, but the percentage they wanted aswell as their "rules" takes the biscuit imo. Don't they know who you are??! 😄

Might bump into you at yarndale😊. Would you not consider applying for wonderwool wales or the Cumbrian Woolgathering. I went this year, it’s their first at that venue, I asked for more needle felting stalls in the feedback form.😊
Yes, I'm there on Saturday morning, going to start with Yarndale as it's my favourite for now. Wonder wool wales was good and I'll do Cumbrian wool gathering next year to have a look, glad you asked for more needle felters, helps my applications xx

I am so glad you didn’t go with the shop it is very expensive and too much money in my option I nearly fell off my chair. Still in the process of making our house ,as ours done a trade show just came home yesterday so tired now . Happy needle felting
Unfortunately shops and galleries are 30 to 40% as a normal but as I have other ways to sell it was a good decision in the end, thanks so much ❣️ xx

I surveyed 10 people that purchased kit and nearly all expected instructions inside, luckily weight is fine as it doesn't push it to the next bracket, thank you though. I wanted to do just a video but 3 out of 10 didn't use RUclips x
