Nice! I like seeing videos like this featuring fun/unique used cars. It breaks through the clutter of the same new cars reviewed on multiple YT channels.
My wife drove me to the hospital last winter for a large kidney stone in our v60 rdesign....Most painful drive of my life but it did at least jiggle the stone out lol. If that was a stiff ride I cant even imagine the polestars suspension😮
@@Clydearb Adjusting the shocks makes a huge difference to the ride, handling and comfort. I've played with the settings on my S60 Polestar for the best daily comfort.
You never engaged sport mode! It'll send 65% of power to the rear wheels, the exhaust valves will open, throttle and transmission response are improved. It really changes the whole car.
@@GTGarageTalk And if you don't use the paddle shifters, it drives automatically. It doesn't shift up straight away when you take your foot off the accelerator. So you have the speed back right away if you have to let off the gas for a moment.
you probably should of spent a little more time in this thing before reviewing it… I don’t think you ever took it out of the pedestrian normal drive mode.. in sport mode it’s obnoxious… and in sport+ it’s an absolute beast. This model Polestar Volvo held the Nuremberg ring best time for a short period of time.
I have a S80 with the same engine @218k miles. Very reliable
Rock on!!!

The Ohlins shocks are adjustable just by turning a little gold knob on each one, you can soften it up.
softens the dampers not the springs

I just bought a 2017 V60 Polestar and I love it!
Nice!
That’s crazy! This is the first one they sold I just bought their second about a month ago! The guys at HOC are awesome.
Yes they are!
Sou apaixonado por Volvo T6.
Um abração do Brasil 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👍👍👍👍
¡Era un buen auto! ¡Gracias por ver! saludos desde texas

Ahhhhhh where were you when we needed you!!!
Haldex awd systems can only send a maximum of 50% torque to the rear.

Awesome cars! I've got a V60 and yeah controls/media/speedometers are outdated but never failed me once!
👍🏼
You wanna talk outdated, I drive a 20 year old S60R with the original radio. 🙂🇦🇺
Wonder if u got smaller rims, thicker tires and upgraded suspension 🤔 if it would smooth it out?
Those dampers are extremely adjustable. Knowing what I know now, they probably needed tweaking.
I agree, I love this car!
🤘🏼
It’s definitely had paintwork done judging by the painted over VIN sticker on the bumper

I agree. Downsides to dealer loans. Very little time to get to know it.
2016's don't have Sport+, but we make up for it with regular Sport and six cylinders 😎
Sport+ is only for shitty 2L
@2:45 "Turbo"?!
Is this the stock polestar exhaust?
I cannot confirm that at this point. Sorry. It was a used vehicle.
Jep is the stock..
But its louder in sportmode but not used in video..
Are there spare parts on the market for this model?
🤷🏼♂️
Viva performance
Light weight?? 4000lbs!!! I own one and love it but it’s far from light
