Russians reported today that 23-year-old Colombian mercenary Angel Cardenas Montilla has been captured. Before that, he had not participated in hostilities. Came to Ukraine to fight for money.
3000$ per month fighting in Ukraine??? I personally pretend 10000$ per week It's to dangerous fight for 3000$ Us Afghanistan/Iraq war veterans I want to ask, which it was your salary? Wi
@@chandlerM1999more than an E1 soldier, but you make more as you rank, speckle if you have any specially a high in demand skill set where you can get a monthly bonus
@@Me-eb3wv true. I served in the Army Reserves for a short time before I was medically discharged. I remember my E1 pay in basic combat training with like 1700 or something like that. Then when I graduated basic combat training in AIT, you had the chance to get to E-2, which was a tad bit more.
Reliable tough Colombian mercenaries almost can only be from big private security contractors for higher prices, just like Academi (Blackwater) in US. These in Ukraine maybe more as freelance standalones unlike those being hired by cartels as sicarios hitmen or by UAE to fight Yemeni Houthi rebels. (Or 2021 Haitian President Jovenel Moïse's assassins) Colombian mercenaries are basically like foreign constructor labors that they mostly are willing to risk their lives even just for ordinary pays. And of course lowest paid ones cannot be who they really are as an international industry.
They treating colombians like trash out there why go and help people whoe see you in that way. They came in and started fighting wounded soldiers.

3.000 $ a month is actually upper class salary in Colombia, you know the dollar is worth more in Colombia, no?
In Ukraine It's now $3300-4000 I believe. But that's only for frontline. It's around $1100-1400 for a "dangerous zone"
They are going just for money, some videos pictured them be treated as animals and sent as meat cannon, this is democracy ahahaha
