I've been waiting for this video! Man he looks amazing! Dream fish I have to say! We had a similar storm here in Poland around the same time and my tank heaters were working overtime! They fail so often though they are terrible. I've replaced 3 in 12 months.... I have a spare one now just incase.
Out of 25 aquariums I have only 4 are heated aquariums and the rest of them are all kept at the room temperature. In all the other aquariums fish survived even though they were 3-4C below what is recommend for them. Usually we have mild winters and we are not used to cold.
Wow you live in an amazing place! I'm so relieved Ice Cube (or may i suggest Freezer x)) could make it. Only vlogs I've ever watched so far are yours. TYSM for sharing, truly inspiring.
I learned from the experience of keeping this fish, in direct sunlight. At night the water turns very cold, during the day the water becomes warm. Fish looks fine. The color is getting better but the fins are growing worse and damaged. As in nature is a secret how they live.🇮🇩
I was a monster fish keeper sometimes back... Used to keep pbass, polypterus, channas, arowanas etc.... Had no interest in small fishes... After seeing your content on a regular basis... I'm liking micro fishes more than monsters now🥹🥲🤣🤣
Thanks for sharing. I really like nano fish. To really keep monster fish you need to have a huge aquarium and I dont have space for that. From all the fish you mentioned I really like channas, I never kept them but I would like one day.
@@IMaqua they're awesome.. And will live happily in 2*3 ft tank... I had 4 channa andraos in a 2ft tank... Had them for 4*5 years... Without water change and filter hahahaha
@@Native_ichthyology I really like channa bleheri. It is interesting how they actually do better without water changes. Maybe one day I get one. I know they are illegal in US but you can get them here in Europe without any problems.
Hi! When my bettas are sick, I place them in a one-gallon hospital tank with a water heater and catapa leaf. It's easier for them to come to the surface to breathe. 🙃 Wonderful video as always! ✨Bonjour from Quebec city! 💁🏻♀️🇨🇦
Thanks for suggestion. I was afraid to move him because I didnt wanna cause even bigger damage by raising temperature too fast. Also maybe I am just superstitious but whenever I would do this in the past they would pass away.
@@IMaqua This has happened to me a few times too. I also learned, during the penultimate case, that my little female was suffering from tuberculosis. So now I repeatedly wash the hospital tub with bleach and rinse thoroughly. Unfortunately, she passed away and I had to throw everything away and start fresh. I also washed the aquarium with bleach and have been cycling a new project for almost a month. We love them so much ☺️
Thanks Richard. I am aware of their "breeding" and it is a very interesting thing to observe. Sometimes they escape because everyone now and then I find some empty shells on the floor.

They are always so cool and different from each other. Thanks for watching Amanda

Thank you very much!
So happy to see he's recovering!
Me too, I didn't really believe he will recover.
Ice Cube! That's great.
He fully deserved his name...
Name him Lucky Blue! He's really beautiful! 👍
Thanks for watching John.
Predivno....
Hvala.
What an adventure for your Betta , Ice Cube is a good name 👍.
I think so too!
Ice...Ice...Baby! Glad the Alien B returned to normal to live his best life in your fabulous tank.
I hope so too. I really didn't think he will survive the initial shock but looks like I was wrong.
He is so handsome! Such a gorgeous color!
Lush and salty… I just wanna thank you for putting the song ice ice baby into my head on repeat for the last several hours 😂😂😂

I experienced a lot of different diseases but TB is one that I fortunately missed. I only read about it and I know how much damage it can do.
Very nice video. A little correction: pond snails do not escape the aquarium, they crawl up to get air every now and then as they have lungs.
Thanks Richard. I am aware of their "breeding" and it is a very interesting thing to observe. Sometimes they escape because everyone now and then I find some empty shells on the floor.
